Getting a class 10 ship in 2 hours and 49 minutes

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

@Neo
i got a lvl 10 ship without any help from this forum, other than the fact that i couldn't figure out how to take screenshots, and thats kinda errelevent (sp?) i did the entire SP without help from this forum, and that, like the other person who's posting the same thing as me, don't mean we are liars, for we are witnesses to our own cause, and think what you want, but i safely know that you can't change facts.

presently, my world is upside down, so if u do not mind, u'll have to tok to my a$$

Do u know what is the problem with FL?

Too many servers, and few players!

To beat the MP u should need to group and trade with others, but u dont need to!

Of course, if u are in a server were there are organized human groups/clans, if any of u get caugth flying a freigther or a non-weapon ship, u will get urself ripped and u can forget this strat.

Anik,

There is a game that does dynamic price changes already... it's called Jumpgate, a MM sf ORP (www.jossh.com). Interestingly, it has its own level of "boredom" even though it's dynamic because, unlike here where folks figure out "the single best route", there, they sit around utilities that crunch trade numbers for the Jumpgate universe, and do whatever's best at the moment. Jumpgate is about 1.5 years old and had a shot at being a big MMRPG but, while what it does it does just fine (trading and, particularly, its combat ranking system is far more sophisticated than FL), it never had enough to flesh it out and make it an engaging place that folks would want to come back to for weeks, months, or years. So it never reached a critical mass. I just checked and saw that there's 82 people online at the moment... not squat for an MMRP company to stay alive and grow. A game like that needs a lot more space/attractions and hundreds or thousands of people to really take off, like other MMRPGs that hit it big.

I guess I just thought I'd mentioned Jumpgate, since I haven't seen hardly anybody here mention it.

Blowing up a few Orbital Spa and Cruise depots will make you neutral to all criminal factions

I've browsed through this thread a few times and thought it was funny...

If you really want a jumpstart to getting a c10 ship, just make sure you know where Flint is....

you can get to it in under 5 mins and if you make it out alive you have 30k worth of cardamine, 4 c3turrets, and 2 c1guns

Man I can't believe noone PK's you buys.

If I see someone levelling up as quick as that I make it my mission to blast them out of the sky....

Well, unless they are in Liberty of course.... but you get what I mean

Post Sun Apr 13, 2003 11:02 pm

02:27 Arrived at Malta. Sold Light Arms. Total 941k. Bought Sabre.

why'd you buy a sabre? get a titan theyre better

Post Sun Apr 13, 2003 11:04 pm

you guys got all that money the easy way... i had to do it the long way but it was worth it, i now have 2 mil creds and a titan currently exploring.

Post Thu Apr 17, 2003 3:06 pm

can someone please answer this question:

where are the cargo dumps?

the post suggests they are somewhere near the first launch point on Manhattan, but there are NO cargo dumps near manhattan. I checked hear detroit munitions, too, and there are none there either. or at fort bush. So, do I have to travel clear across new york to find some? the post makes it seem like there are some right near the spawn........

turn right after u launched from manhatten and enable your loot targetting (the chest). you will find them...
(unless they have been destroyed already ofc)

The cargo dumps are actually called "Storage Depot"s in game. There should be 3 of them near Manhatten...2 belonging to the Police, one belonging to the DSE.

btw, you should turn *right* after launching from Planet Manhatten to get to them, not left.

They're steering you right, Animi... but in a MP game, if somebody already killed the depot's storage containers (they each have four), all you will see is the "big plus sign" of the "empty" storage depot. You want to find a storage depot that still has containers on it. If you "turn right" coming out of Manhattan, like you're going to Detroit, proceed past the first tradelane ring to Detroit... the depots are a little bit past there (a couple more kilometers?), to the right of the tradelane's venue.
