8 sleeper ship?

if any 1 has playedstarlancer i think it would be the coalition that was ment to run like hell cause if u fionished playing it starlancer then the alliance won the war i dont know they turn it the other way
i read in the stragegy guild for it it said french and italian were destroyed
i have no other news as currently

sp00n, the portuguese and brasilians are NOT hispanics.

About the 8 sleeper ships, here are the possibilities that can't be ruled out:

1. person was high
2. the story was re-writed and someone forgot to change this, other rumors have mistakes
3. it was just a rumor

The other 3 sleepers ships are pure speculation. There are a lot of possibilities:Italy, France, Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Australia, Canada... Or a pack of a few of those nations. LIke a ship named "Europa" with some of the minor powers.

hm, seeing that portugal has is right next to spain and that their language is quite similar, i would consider them hispanics very well...

same would go for brasil then (as being "conquered" by portugal and speaking portuguese).

Wow im starting to think some of us spend more time posting then flying

With that said
Hispania=Spain
Bretonia=UK
Rhineland=Germany
Liberty=US
Kusari=Japan
other 3 are unknown but i assume they didnt manage to launch since if you listen to the rumors they say 8
maybe they were somehow destroyed or sabotaged or never completed
either way it doesnt matter enough for ppl to argue over it

This is not going anywhere... as far as i know from the rumurs i collected and the official NEWS ingame there is 8 sleeper ships and i dont give a damn what their names are because they just might be some new race which could be develop during the colonization of jupiter and pluto or Liberty2 or Rheinland3.. Comparing them to the races in the world might just not be accurate and will never bring anything.. leave it as it is and shold there be any expansion imsure something will be revealed.. lol

WAIT WAIT WAIT.... I have no idea about Starlancer... Sleeper ships are interesting, but what happened in the great war? You were a pilot of the Alliance right? and then you fight against the eastern dudes... But what was the final *epic* battle. I thought if we had such a epic battle the Eastern guys would have been crippled? Or did you die in that final battle? and how long after Starlancer did the Alliance flee? And how did it come to that after you won that epic battle? Please answer this question for me, cuz i really want to know what exactly happened...

I'd suspect that the three destroyed were the French, Scandanavians, and the Italians. The Universe seems a better place without the Frenchies

@Neo: the remnants of Alliance fleet stood a final battle against the Coalition in order to buy time for the Sleeper Ships to escape. They had no hopes of victory... just hold off the Coalition for long enough for the sleepers to escape.

No political discussion or nation-bashing here. TLR do have French visitors, and you might offend them.

And what about the blonde hair? how awfully ignorant. The concept of Britain/Bretonia or USA/Liberty is a concept of nationality, not race. There are Scandinavian blood in UK of course, does not mean they are of a Scandinavian nationality. The same with Japanese-Americans and Afro-Americans or Pakistani-Americans, does that mean they shouldn't be on the Liberty?

Well, the thing I meant with the blonde hair was that the british and Liberty People got blonde hari. NOt all but some ladies do. I didnt mean that it was like this in the REAL world.

If you watch the uncut intro version you'll know what happens.. and as for the alliance.. basically in starlancer all they do is FLEE.. as the hero of the game You are tasked with impossible missions :sarcasm: to push them back from the alliance territories and many of your missions include saving transports retreating including battleships. of course at the end the tide of the war turned on the alliance favour and i haven't got the slightest idea how the tide REALLY turned back to the coalition.. only speculations...

The Uncut Intro is NOT the official Intro. The story parts that were removed must be considered that, removed. There's no evidence they are actually part of the storyline.

The intro shows 5 sleeper ships taking off from Saturn, not 8 taking off from Pluto. So that's it.
