The New Forums ....
Here you can suggest and discuss changes to the Lancers Reactor website as well as provide feedback on things small or large.
I think that most posters mature to the forum standards when they become a "Commander". "Captain" is too early, as a diehard spammer can get that in 1 day, while "Commander" is WAY harder to achieve in 1 day, and anyone who spams would need to get 225-299 posts in the forum, without a mod locking the spam thread/s, which is hard to do.
However, Bargib (and Eraser) should post some VERY tough rules on avatars , to ensure that no-one goes overboard, and to also ensure that this doesn't become a "My porn avatar is way better than yours" forum .........
Sounds stupid, but I've seen it happen to other forums ........

Hehe - sorry - I had them on ice for a while - both due to real life obligations and due to the fact I was awaiting an upgrade on the code from the supplier...

I actuallty got to tune the code abit, reduced the processing time of the forums - including the old, archived posts, hugely (from 10 seconds via a test that took 20 seconds to .3 seconds!)
Just so you know - I'm working on them!

Bargib, is there a way you could give us moderators an option to ban people from the forum? It would some work out of your hands!

well I'll always prefer it as it is right now, it still looks very distinctive and a nice effortless feel to posting. I'l miss these old comfortable forums. I probably won't be able to use the new forums half so well I'll keep a proper TLR page stored offline so i can look at ot from time to time and remember how good things were in the old days <sigh>
..the Devil will find work for idle hands to do; i stole and I lied, and why? because you asked me to..

Wiz: Yes
BM: What would you like me to take over from the old code? The HTML less postings? You can use the new forums very quickly - much in the same way as these... But I have the big advantage on building on a newer codebase, and having PM's and a lot of other neat stuff to expand upon...

This is the closest to the forum builds that I've seen in the preview ...... I dunno, it looks too messy to me ......
