That's about what it cost me here in the US.

Going from my old 1.33 GHz Athlon with a GeForce 3, and 512MB of PC133 SDRAM to my current P4 2.53 GHz with a GF4 Ti4200 and 512MB of PC2700 DDR cost about $950. I also payed a little extra for special thermal paste and cooling.

Oh, forgot to mention, I also purchased an ASUS motherboard ( P4S8X, based on the SiS 648 chipset ).

I see this has been moved to OT, sorry if I got this off track, I just like my hardware

You think everything is overpriced by exactly how much they're charging for it ;p
