What caused the dinosaurs to die? Most people think a giant asteroid, but I have heard plenty other stories.

I've heard it was Jesus because some say the dinosaurs never really existed and that they were put on Earth to test the faith of Christians. Same thing with aliens.

Although I'm a Christian, I have no frickin idea.

Anyway, i believe it was indeed a massive rock. Well, last time i checked tahts what made them die. Did new data come up?

I haven't heard of any - and the Alvarez iridium anomaly along with the 'shock' tektites would seem to support the theory, in addition to what is stipulated to be the remanents of a massive impact crater just off the eastern coast of Central America.

And James P.Hogan has an interesting speculation in his book'Cradle of Saturn'.
'sa good read,btw- and it does make some sense. Some scientists have said that due to their weight, they couldn't have moved at all- not without something on the planet being radically different than it is today.

as anyone with even a smattering of edd****ayshun knows, the dinosaurs died as a result of Ham Dare's usage of the Spaceship Hamastasia's cricket-bat device to knock the Weekun forward in time (from the past)
