This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The thing is evolution is often misunderstood

Its a toss and grab thing. Its not like this "I live in water, fins are good in water, i evolve with fins" Random things evolve but the ones that work go through. So we might never be optimal to our generic urban enviroment simply because things that would help out might not occur.

In recent News...

a (suppossed) impact crater has been found in Antartica, that has a diameter of 300 miles, that to the best the core samples can tell, happened around the time
( if I read it right) of the K-T boundary extinctions- can anyone corroborate this?

NewScientist.com

There's a longer article in the magazine itself but this gives some indication of what they've discovered. It's still only speculative though and there are a number of other impact sites that are equally probable.

Thanks, Accushot- appreciate the referrence and the website

However, I would think that this would raise (If substansiated!) several others questions in relation to the topic as a whole- and can only state how much we currently do not know. One can only hope that the scientific community will see fit to attempt to resolve the question in the near future, as it could affect how long we can afford to remain ignorant of the need to track these objects on a regular basis. And, in all fairness, if we really do have something to worry about in the near to immediate future.

I SAID I was sorry already. Sheesh, you make One little mistake with a temporal metastabilizer and you hear about it for the rest of your life....

The SpaceNuts always return.
