Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

*Waves paw dismissively* It's not my fault that you people cannot read the "Use By" dates on bottles of GB. All brewed beverages have a date by which they must be consumed, and the stockpiles held by Tawakalnistan are many months beyond such a date. To be honest, I'm surprised that you are still alive ID; old GB can be a potent substance, and should be handled with care. In Esquilaxitavia, we use it an a clean alternative energy source.

Indeed, Mrs Id has suggested---Hic...blagh---hooking me up to the national grid. *Waves fist in general direction of Esquilaxativia* "I'll get you for this Flopsey, mark my words"---Hic!

Shoor you will. Maybe if you and Tors team up, you may be able to come up with a coherent insult .

Post Wed Aug 16, 2006 3:53 am

ME! Incoherent? Rediculous!

Anyhoo, last I saw of Tors was his balled up fist waving at me as I escaped his torture chamber. He did try to join the Tawakalnastan-Swissdruland-NooDworkian alliance (the axis of weebles) back in the day but I hear that all he ever did was turn up at our Thursday Night meetings for the free cookies and booze and sod off again without paying his subscripton.

EDIT: OCD edit.

Poor benighted Harey Horse.

Everyone knows that methane is, in fact, a greenhouse (or greenface) effect causing gas. Using it as an alternative fuel still contributes to the overall increase in CO2 in our atmosphere ... and the contribution has other negative olfactory effects in the process as well.

in Tawakalnistan, we have a saying; "the desert has soaked up more ginger beer than a rabbit could ever drink..."

"Methane"? Who said that we used methane? That's one of the reasons why beef is imported into Esquilaxitavia from Australia; those cows are not very environmentally friendly. Old GB is closer to ethanol due to its sugar content (although far more acidic).

Taw - Perhaps, but disposing of out-of-date GB is hardly a great achievement .

Thanks Esqy:

In one swell foop, you've confirmed our argument about the ethanol in the beverage and you've confirmed the type of methane production I was referring to ... post GB consumption, that is.

I spotted that too, but I thought I'd let you have the singular pleasure of cornering the hitherto elusive Eskwilacks on the true nature of GB.

True! Belching has not been the only gaseous side effect caused by the consumption of the aged GB's we procured. SwissDrulandian officials have called a state of emergency.

Large groups of people are not permitted to gather in enclosed spaces, all non-emergency hospital visitation has been cancelled and schools closed. The best advice is to stay inside your own cloak, difficult as this may bee, and breath as little as possible. Limiting yourself to exhaling only was mooted but deemed a to be, well, total cobblers.

The upside of all this is that the green glow in the sky caused by the low-lying cloud over our capital city has become a major tourist attraction. The local councils have started charging an "outdoor-tax" for anyone wishing to come out and view it. As staying in is not recommended for health reasons the tax take this month has been very healthy, much more so than the population.

well shoorly that's a good thing? the more folks go out, the more they need transportation and thus the more tenth-hand Ladas (those "one careful owner" models) you can sell from your Portakabin on that spare land next to those broken-down warehouses near the docks...

Post Thu Aug 17, 2006 2:33 pm

That's the spirit, spoken like a true capitalist...there's profit in everything, you just have to flog it the right way.

Akshly the portakabin was moved recently to the piece of land behind the vacant warehouses, summat to do with a silly man in a suit babbling on about unpaid rents or such like, pah, but at least we have some nice coloured bunting to string out to the main road and alert potential clients passing by to the presence of a top quality establishment "round back".

Lets hope you dont attract strange people who wear yellow macs in all weathers, or is that what you want? i can never remember with you :O

Bah! The production of methane is only present in 1+ year-old GB. The average citizen of Esquilaxitavia has no such problems, as they are all GB purists and know that it has gone off before they even taste it. As for the ethanol, what's wrong with that? GB contains sugar, and after a good year or two of sitting around it can indeed become 'coholic like most fermented beverages, even when the alcohol is removed. The interaction of the sedimentary yeast and the sugar would indeed create, over time, alcohol thus allowing for eventual production of ethanol in Esquilaxitavia. *In-date* GB of course, has no such problems. Nice try Indy .

Taw - Transportation? Well, I suppose that you could classify Tawakalnistan's many horse-drawn carriages as transportation, but they aren't exactly time-efficient.

You know, this is soooo much fun to watch.
