Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

ROTFLMAO Never knew he was that off

Post Wed Mar 22, 2006 1:57 pm

Aceaz: I dunno mate, some sad Rabbits have a desperate need for publicity and attention, I guess?

Rabbit: you wascally luddite Wabbit, I *knew* you'd stick up for Betamax! it's all about yesterday's technology with you, isn't it? I bet that {iTyphon has valves and cat's whisker in there somewhere

Final - Well that's what I have always thought, but if I were to make such a claim I might end up offending people .

Indy - That site was set up by one of my evil dopplegangers. The others have been eliminated by my rabbit Mujahideen, and I have reason to believe the the creator of that site has been dealt with as well, as the site has not been updated for a LONG time.

Taw - And what's wrong with vacuum-tube technology? Besides, it's not as if I am running something as old as ENIAC over here you know! As for a "deperate need for publicity and attention", you'd know Moderator Mullah!

Post Wed Mar 22, 2006 7:59 pm

He's got a point there Taw. A 486SX20 will run circles around an ENIAC

now now Esquilaxitikitaxitive, at least I'm open and honest about my links to da management, unlike <ahem> certain long-eared hoppity carrot-eating folk I could mention...? <walks off whistling> A Rabbit of the People indeed <scoff>

Eduardo - our lapine chum probably keeps some vacuum-tube number-cruncher on standby in case his trusty 486 Typhon overheats during a particularly intense session of Super Rabbit Island, after all those Trident 256k ISA cards get pushed hard on those 640x480 16-bit displays. And there's not a lot of space for savegames on a 20mb hdd. Although I hear tell that W'95 OSR1 is gradually gaining acceptance in the upside-down Wabbit computerising community (they even have a bbs!)

FD - stop sticking up for him! he's supposed to have (semi) divine bunny powers, let's see the proof! Anyway I does have da interlekshooall disk-cushions with the wabbit feller - we can talk contrast Gildas with the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle if you like!

(moderating schmoderating, how much moderatine have je ever done? the odd admonishment and some html corrections. That title was just a kindness from BP 'cos I was fixing the server.)

Taw - Having the occasional conversation with E or BP hardly qualifes me as having "links" to da management. Do you see a "Moderator" tag next to my name? Noooooo . And what's wrong with DOS? At least I never stooped to using OS/2 like *some* Mullahs I know. As for Gildas and Co, we could always discuss Willy's Doomsday Book innovation instead/as well .

Indy - Quiet you! At least MY PC isn't located in an airless closet!

Post Thu Mar 23, 2006 2:00 am

there was and still is nothing wrong with OS/2 as you well know, stoop indeed, why's it still used in ATM's then if it's so pooh? IBM just didn't market it well and they'd handed the pc business to Bill on a plate years previously with their fubarr over DOS. Don't try to make me out as the luddite, you luddite, Tawakalnistan's mullah's are known for their embracement of duly-sanctioned technology.

occasional convos with E and BP? you've got them both at the top of your speed-dial, o Rabbit of Fibs. And you're getting them special Easter presents I hear. I've enver had an Easter present of you, but then I don't believe you exist so i don't suppose I would get anything.

but you're right, your pc isn't located in an airless closet. dank airless hole in the ground, more like.

*sniff*

My PC, which is a Pentium 4 3gHz , resides in a computer armoir and NOT a closet. Thenk you veddy mutch .

*sniff*

And I don't affect to name it anything other than what it is. It is my "Antec Bronze P4 3gHz."

*sniff*

Bah, OS/2 is only being used in ATMs because it is CHEAP, not because it is good. As for "speed-dial" (using Americanisms I see, shame!), I do not have one. And Easter gifts? Who do you think delivers all of those easter eggs? Easter time was, up to now, my only period of confirmed work per year. Oh, and I should announce that the soy chocolate easter eggs have finally been perfected, so expect them this Easter! I defy you to tell the difference! When I save up some money, I just might send you (and Eddy H.) some. They're good for what ails ye!

Indy - "Armoire"? I thought that you were going to push the "BIR" envelope .

What's wrong with a 20 MB HDD ?
I still run from time to time an 1988 Atari Mega ST2 with a 30 meg HDD (heavier than an actual PC) and running Cubase 2.0 on it (I even still own the DONGLE ) connected through MIDI to my actual rig.
Why? The first Cubase-Versions (1.0, 1.5, 2.0) had a feature for generating random based midi events on ANY parameter. Those pattern are sent to my (still working) Ensoniq SQ-80 and Yamaha TX-81z, set on a 19-tone scale (!!).
Believe me: these are UNIQUE sounds. more beast than beauty

you said that the foul Bunny Brew that you consume liberally was *good for what ail'd ye* - make your mind up, Hare of Confusion!

Post Fri Mar 24, 2006 4:32 pm

Make my mind up? More than one thing can be "good for what ails ye". Besides, you weren't drinking the *good stuff*. You were drinking carbonated water with some food acid, colourings, and flavourings in it. You can't expect good results if you go for the cheap option now can ye?

As for 20MB HDDs, next you'll be having a go at Amigas!

this has gone far enough..

*loads pump action 12 gauge with medium shot*
