Just for the heck of it, I re-submit that Esquilax is NOT a true chimera / chimaera, and is still the mere phantasmagorical invention of the Simpsons cartoon series.

True that he affects to name his PC Typhon who, with Echidna is said to have spawned the true chimera, it of lion's body and head, goat's head and venomous serpent as tail, this is all it is, an affectation.

For all we know, he has named is television set Echidna ... or would that be his VCR?

As for your baseless accusations of Beta-compatible VCR's, I will only state that Betamax was the better format but lost due to the successful marketing of large electronics corporations, NOT its features.
