Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

It is a token PC thing O Mullah.

After all, lack of international respect notwithstanding, the head of a state no matter how sad, is accredited with being ensconced in something not called a hole, even if veritably in one.

@Mee.... ergo, Royal Flush

I have actually been playing a lot of poker recently (and winning 90% of the time), but in this context, I find your pun to be "meh". Still, I appreciate the effort. As for "The Burrow", what's wrong with its current moniker? And it is nowhere near as damp and cold as is commonly believed, except the fireplace in my room which *does* let a lot of cold air in, and the roof *does* leak in a few places (but only, apparently, when the rain is heavy and hits the roof at a certain angle... I know, crazy, eh?). Aside from that, it is quite comfortable. Carpets, floorboards, another fireplace, nice new leather couches and many overflowing bookshelves. Yes, 'tis not too bad.

Anyway, why listen to the evil Mullah or the Capitalist Vampire? They don't even have flags! Let the Royal Ensign of Esquilaxitavia be shown (or, at least, one variation of it):
Not bad, not bad at all.(1)

(1)(I've been waiting for 19 months to display that, but the opportunity never arose. In addition, I have been awaiting feedback from my collaborator (who designed the flag before I modified it), but alas... Anyway, was the flag worth the wait? "Probably not" you will no doubt say, *sigh* .(2)

(2)Now I will wait until tomorrow for Indy and Taw to spend a sleepless night making flags in this ongoing game of "oneupmanship" (as they say in Ostrahhhlya) .

Eskie I am seriously impressed. By this point I would have expected the only flag you would be waving was white. The depth of your delusional little burrow is truly remarkable.

Indeed, while I must say that the work is pretty good, the blatantly false propoganda negates the worth of that work.

The denizen of Dank House is not a GB swilling bunny rabbit, much as it would like you to think that it is. It is a chimaera, a rather unsightly one at that with head of hare and body of horse.

*sniff*

And we don't need flags in Noo Dworkia. Our currency is our national emblem. We, all of us, carry our national emblems with us practically all the time ... as do our good friends and trading partners.

Post Tue Jul 10, 2007 2:44 pm

Indeed, 'tis true. Since the Tawakalni Dinar has been pegged to the value of the Noo Dworkian dollar, economic stability has greatly benefited Tawakalnistan. The farsighted decision by the Grand Mullah of the Exchequer (me) to lift trading tariffs and lower taxation from 100% to zero for foreign companies called IndyCorp and provide a ready and willing source of cheap labour has resulted in a veritable flood of inward investment allowing me to have that extention built onto the Great Pala.. erm Mosque and to get those felgerkarb tiles replaced at last!

Ha! I knew it! Once again Esquilaxtavia pulls ahead with it's "ace in the hole"! Take that Noo Dworkia and Tawakalnistan! Ah well, maybe if we wait 19 months they'll have something to show us that can compete with my flag . As for propaganda... Lies! All lies! All the world (see forum) know that Esquilaxitavia is a haven for rabbits and rabbitkind, and therefore the image on the flag is completely appropriate. After all, I never said that MY image was on the flag, as that's something that Taw would do (and possibly Indy). One of these days, time permitting, I may just have to show you what their flags would look like...

"Tors" - Thanks, but I would like to once again reiterate that the original design was created by a good friend of mine, and that I tweaked it and added colour (and the bottle of G. I didn't do that much really. The original was in greyscale as a concept, but it was still bloody good. And now, let's see the other variation!

why has the Bunny in the rubbish picture got a grey willy?

Post Wed Jul 11, 2007 5:48 am

Oy you! Flopsey! Get off o' my island ya twit, it's bad enough not getting any sunshine from one end of the year while all o' ye southrons throw another one on the barbie without havin' to put up with a bunny eclipse too.

Post Wed Jul 11, 2007 6:32 am

<snorffles> you'll note that Noo Tawakalnistan survived the landing of a giant GB filled bunny on erm GB. hmmm, did the mutant space rabbit land there and crush Oireland because he saw the letters "GB" on a map and thought that our sceptred isle, our green and pleasant land, was actually the fountainhead of ginger-beer?

does this therefore mean that gb is in short supply elsewhere, that the horror bunny has to seek out new supplies, like a lapine Snorlax seeking new grapefruit in the Orange Islands?

Post Wed Jul 11, 2007 4:49 pm

Ireland, "Great" Britain, Canada it's all the same. The latter is my flag of war, flown when fighting against the evil forces of Tawakalnistan, Swissdrulania (or whatever the hell it is called) and others. That is why that particular land mass is present. As for your question Mullah, that is a shadow, a shadow of the other leg to be precise. Hmph!

P.S. There ain't no GB shortages here, although I have run out... *Sniff*

Post Thu Jul 12, 2007 12:40 am

oh, a shadow, is it? haven't heard that one before.....

Post Thu Jul 12, 2007 1:36 am

this all sounds rather shady to me...

Post Thu Jul 12, 2007 3:19 pm

I'm sure you have Taw, and I'm sure that there are stories to tell, but this is a family forum you know . In addition, I see that ff's wit (if it can so be called) is as subtle as ever. I agree with you ff, let's make the most obvious pun imaginable, one that everyone could see coming from a kilometre away, and consider ourselves clever while contributing nothing to the thread in question. Yep, that's the ff way. Bravo! Thanks for comin' out. *Ends sarcastic spiel, shakes head in disgust and trots off*
