Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Bah! When was the last time that you saw a rabbit, horse or Chimaera shamble? Never, that's when! It takes two legs to shamble and thus, only apes and humans can shamble effectively. Hmph!

Post Sat Jun 30, 2007 5:02 pm

Well, a rabbit does have two rear legs and two front paws.

I believe that the term "coined" by my learned colleague was "shambulate" as distinct from "shamble" - it doesn't mean that whatever species you are actually shambles, more a shambolic attempt to perambulate.

the only shambles as such is that miserable excuse for a computer rotting down in your miserable excuse for a burrow.

Here we go again; insultin' me computer. I thought that we were past the point of insultin' each other's PCs. Ah, it seems that I expect too much *sigh*. Oh, and be sure to give "Boromir" my regards. Those new 4MB SIMMs should really boost his performance .

Final - Yes. And? Rabbits don't walk on two paws... as a rule .

Post Sun Jul 01, 2007 3:19 am

how could we ever be past insulting each other's computers? Not that it's much of a competition, mighty Borromir being so much higher up the food chain as it were than pokey ol' Typhon - I've just installed 2gb of Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz (Dual Channel) wot I "aquired" from werk <nudge nudge wink wink> and it just flies! Makes a world of difference to F.E.A.R. Extraction Point.

I take it you have those 4mb SIMMS spare now because you've <gasp> upgraded to 8mb FPM

Now then, where's that purchase order for those two 8800GTX's?

<strides off in superior Tawakalnic fashion as opposed to Esquilaxitavian shambulation..>

Bah, a likely story! Anyway, make your jests about the status of the Rabbit-King's upgrade if you will, but be sure; it's coming. I'm simply waiting to see how games such as "Crysis", UT3 and "Bioshock" perform before buying. Besides, DDR3 is coming, Penryn is coming and is the 8900 series. Yes, I can afford to wait, although I *would* like to play NWN2. Stupid game; the damn engine doesn't run well on anything! *Kicks can*

You've been waiting forever as it is, it's a shock to Mustantopian scientists that Crash v3.4 (which still utilises archaic AGP technology) has Typhon whipped and buried despite it's poor performance figures. Just bite the bullet, I know you've got piles of money tucked away in that parentally supplied den of yours.

the Eskwilurx sed:

deja vu; you've been saying that for at least 4 years now, "I'm just waiting for game XXX <fill in the appropriate blank>" I didn't realise that chronic procrastination was part of lapinary genetic makeup?

I am beginning to wonder if its his lack of funds due to the enormus Ginger Beer Budget needs and the ventilation program for the rabbit burrow.

Post Mon Jul 02, 2007 8:41 pm

Nuts, I was hoping that you guys wouldn't point that out *sigh*. I acknowledge the fact that I have been waiting for a year, but Directx 10 was coming, and now that it is here there are other things to wait for such as DDR3 (I'm not waiting until 2012 for solid-sate HDDs though!). At the end of the year, or the beginning of next year I will upgrade, and money is not an obstacle. You'll see, I can only take a 3 FPS framerate in a game like NWN2 (with maximum detail) for so long before I must act!

By the way, I'm still looking for a good name (preferably mythological) for my next PC. Any thoughts? Maybe I could hold a competition and mail the winner a personally signed photograph... Yes. The only problem is, Taw has asked for so many signed photographs that they are not as rare as they once were *sigh*.

You guys aren't even trying! One would think that you guys didn't want a signed photo!
