Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Do you now? Well? We're listening... Entertain us with your rabbit "tails", ha ha. *Dodges barrage of mouldy vegetables* Hey, if I didn't say it, ff would have!

In any case, I will return to me poetry and see what I can come up with. Please find attached, for your reading pleasure, yet another poetic construct courtesy of the Esquilaxitavian Court Bards (and Skalds). This is a more classicly-written story in poetic form outlining the evil Mullah's first foray into Esquilaxitavia many years ago and subsequent defeat...

Many years ago in the mists of the past,
There came a dark time in which the rabbits were aghast,
Into the peaceful rabbit realm a shadowy figure crept,
Inflitrating Esquilaxitavia as its inhabitants slept.

A swarthy man from the land of Tawakalnistan,
His face covered by towel and in loose robes of tan,
A Mullah, the owner of a speckled cat called "Sushi",
An unenlightened man, a devotee of films by Belushi.

During the day bunnies hopped with rampant pleasure and glee,
Little did they know the Mullah's taste for rabbit and brie,
Then the Mullah did appear, gun in hand and trigger ready,
He aimed at the bunnies and his rifle he did steady.

The trigger was pulled and "BANG!" all hell broke loose,
The rabbits slaughtered, their pacifism a tight noose,
The rabbits were frozen by the Mullah's onslaught,
Unaware that their fear and paralysis only aided his sport.

Suddenly the rabbits, freed from their shock came to see,
The Mullah's smoking rifle and the great atrocity,
And with fear-fuelled bound and leap they did escape,
Leaving the Mullah with his triumphant mouth agape.

To the Rabbit-God did the rabbits hop,
Until in exhaustion they were forced to stop,
They rested that night and then began again 'til' light did fade,
Hastening to the Great Rabbit for his heavenly aid.

When the Rabbit heard the tidings of this evil foe,
He was saddened and angered, and forth he did go,
He instantly travelled to site of the shooting,
But the Mullah was long gone, finished with his looting.

The Rabbit-God summoned his army and set off in pursuit,
To Tawakalnistan they marched by the fastest land route,
At the border they met the Mullah's army of people forcibly drafted,
And they met in battle, the rabbits with an edge due to plans cunningly crafted.

After months of battle and deaths on each side,
The Mullah was defeated and on a tropical island did he hide,
Tawakalnistan was named Esquilaxistan and was ruled by Musty,
An ex-despot who could best be described as quite "lusty".

Esquilaxistan still stands, firm in its resolve,
To reject the Mullah's teachings and intellectually evolve,
The Mullah still sits in his suite in the tropical sun,
Eating coconuts and limes, for rabbit he has none.

See? I try new things and give you poetic *variety*, unlike some people! *Shoots superior glance in Taw's direction, and leaves work and goes home*

Hey topher, I'm glad to hear that we are still amusing people after all this time . Of course, things are slowing down a bit due to Musty's holiday and the mysterious silence of both Druid and Indy. It must be that time of year... or a Tawakalnist plot of some kind...

Indeed Revany, things have certainly been going downhill for Mr. Mullah ever since he "scarpered" out of Tawakalnistan in fear. Ah yes, truly a glorious day for rabbitkind and their allies.

Er ....

We capitalist vampires take holidays. Mine starts at the crack of dawn tomorrow. I've been rather preoccupied with work and home projects in preparation for the time off.

I will try to yarn some spin on this deluge of lapinary poesy upon my return.

Cheers. Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating.

Yeah, yeah, any excuse... Fine Indy, but I will hold ye to that.

i'm busy with college, though im not that busy that i cant blind some of your followers temporarily with my new flashgun.

what the Insurance Man means, o Hare of Limited Cultural Awareness, is that he got an overly large turkey for the "Thanksgiving" celebrations held annually in the kufr US and A, and is struggling to get it up the stairwell of his skyscraping apartmentalised block in Noo Dworkia and is currently huffing and puffing somewhere around floor 14.

Of course the whole Thanksgiving mullarkey is completely haram and shirk and involves all kinds of forbidden practices; unlike our holy month of Ramadan and the joyful and completely halal Eid celebrations afterwards. Of course for Rabbitkind I'm sure that the pagan festival of Eostre is what your fluffy tailed followers wait for; tell me, do you actually show yourself on that day? Is it the one day you actually leave your burrow and venture into the material world?

And just what is wrong with Eostre ? It's a better day than some, consider for example "Valentine's Day" which is nothing more than a corporate money-making "hallmark holiday" (I hate it so much!?! Grrrrr!!!). As for my links to it, I have been known to emerge at that time of year, in order to coordinate confectionary delivery, and to look for soy chocolate eggs. I do however, stick to the shadows and wear a hooded robe. Of course the day's significance for me is not surprising, because I was born in Eostremonat after all. Coincidence? I think not!

You'd be amazed at the number of people that call me that when they discover that I am looking for soy chocolate *sigh*.

I did not have much reason to agree to Your Hoppity in this thread, but I bow for this sentence Never thought that flowers could be considered one day for a stinking symbol of Yankee-Cultural-Imperialism. *spits*

edit: wow ! post 1111 of this thread and my personal 500. *X3-Voice: You have been promoted* **hops back to mountains**
