Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I am late as ever, sorry.
"Swiss": what do you mean by "brand" ? I already wrote it: Lagavulin 12 yrs. So you don't seem to know THE Lagavulin from Islay (I am particularly fascinated by the Islay Single Malts and I wish I could offer you one day one of my favorites, the 'Unchillfiltered Caol Islay Cask Strength' Collector's Edition (You think I'm showing off? nonou. It's terribly expensive to have a single malt-ered mind).

@ Esqui: not sure if your X-mas-antipathy is not a fake. Today in the newspaper was a HUGE ad with an unreadable curvy S (looking more like a Jewgeni Pluschenko-Piroutte), followed by a FAT hopping - I thought this was your influence
[Warning: you have just read another terrible pun. Go to the next counter and say loudly: One more whiskey please

@ Mr. Z

You will find that in both Dr. U. Id and myself, we are uisgheach enthusiasts.

Of late, I have grown particularly fond of the Irish variety ... for the same reason that my favorite single malt Scotch is Glen Morangie. I like a smoothe eau de vie with a rather flowery bouquet to it.

Post Mon Nov 27, 2006 1:27 pm

what kind of flowers?

Post Mon Nov 27, 2006 2:21 pm

Taw - Ah yes, back to the question of my existence I see. Shall I trot out the "I think, therefore I am" line? No, I'll spare you. However, the Esquilax must exist. If you abuse him does he not defend himself and riposte? If you email him, does he not respond? If you mention him in a thread, does he not appear? Ah yes, existence is mine!

Zaz - Perhaps. The ways of the Rabbit-King are mysterious, and his tendrils of influence are subtle and long-reaching...

Post Mon Nov 27, 2006 6:00 pm

A rabbit with tendrils ... hmmmmmmm. Like some kind of Triffid?

Post Tue Nov 28, 2006 12:56 am

They're metaphorical tendrils. A rabbit with tentacles would resemble some sort of anime-like demon-beast, and that wouldn't fit my image (and reputation) as a benevolent entity, I mean monarch .

@zaz: If you are going to use your favoured brand as a rabbit marinate then I have even less respect for you.

As for Islay my stomack does not cope well with the peat. I do force myself to imbibe said fluid with a dash of water to release the flavour and this helps. Unfortunately I was not able to accompany mey peers on the tour of Islay this October but I shall be attending the "Speyside tasting" this Thursday eve. May bring my Bowmore 12 out of its box as I know they at least enjoy it.

@Indy: Irish! Indeed! I hope your supply of Jemmy Crested Ten is keeping up. You know I can't just keep jetting off to NooDworkia every time you run out.

As for what old Id is enjoying these days, well I know that the blended malts of Jemeson are more famous here where as the Scots Singles are probably better know, but if you get a chance to try the Knappogue Single malt 1994 you won't go too far wrong.

Remember Indy, I only drink Bourbon, I taste whiskey.

Now...sorry folks for going off topic if that is actually possible.

Esqy..i dunno..perhaps these mere creatures would be even more terrified of a tentacle here or there..perhaps i'll go down to the local shop and by one...ya know try it on for size.

After all, who'd dare face me with 3 lightsabres lol

this thread is degenerating into utter horror for a good Muslim like me!

1. You are most emphatically not a deity. Stop blaspheming! You're just a very large rabbit-thing, with or without tendrils, real or metaphorical. You may well represent the majority of lapinary opinion, although whether this allows you to declare yourself "king" remains to be seen. I suppose that's an internal matter for the rabbit community.

2. There's more to life than alcohol! it fuddles the brain and reduces men to the level of beasts, even to that of rabbits. Besides, Swiss, you don't just taste whisky, you taste of whisky. It's my understanding that one time when you got badly hurt careering around Dublin town in one of your ringed Ladas, you were transfused directly with Black Label

Post Tue Nov 28, 2006 9:19 am

@Tawit: Lies! Lies! All lies! It was not Black Label it was Bushmills 1608. I can see how the labels could be confused though so I will forgive that one.

Post Tue Nov 28, 2006 9:23 am

forgive me for getting your blood type wrong there, boyo but you're the only person i know whose donor card is issued by the Licensed Victualler and Hospitallers Association.

Post Tue Nov 28, 2006 9:37 am

Donor card me arse, shoore by the time I'm finished with 'em my internal organs would not even make good stew let alone keep anyone alive.

Then again and before you get your spoke in I know that would never be an issue for your good self.

Post Tue Nov 28, 2006 9:57 am

yes well, were we all to be marooned on a desert island together, with limited supplies, you wouldn't be top of my list for killing and eating; although i imagine that you'd make an excellent beacon when lit!

I would however be dining on rabbit every night; rabbit and yam, rabbit fritters with pineapple, caribbean rabbit, rabbit j erky....

"Deity"? When did I say that? I said "entity"! That whole Rabbit-God thing is "old skool" as they say in the US, and I have made no attempt to bring it back. Hence, my position as King of Esquilaxitavia. As I have said, the rabbits wanted me to go for a "King and God" approach and be known as "Pharoah", but I declined. Get with the times Taw!

As for this whole whiskey discussion, I am loathe to agree with the Mewlah but I concur; alcohol is for "loosers" as some forum posters say. I'm not sure what a "looser" is, but I doubt that it is complementary .

As for desert islands, you'd be hard-pressed to find a rabbit on one Towel-boy. How would they get there? Everyone knows that rabbits hate swimming! Chimaerae rather enjoy it though.

Post Tue Nov 28, 2006 2:47 pm

you did write "deity" and you went back and edited it, mendacious Hare!

I was merely hypothesising if for example, we were marooned together, after say a Lost -style plane-crash, or a shipwreck.
