Time to play...Name That Movie!!
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.
at last! I'm back in the game!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, new version (although i prefer the old one) - Willie Wonka, as played by Johnny Depp, to Grandma Georgina, that funny old bat Liz Smith.
ok, here's the next one..
"Bella bambina at twelve o'clock!"

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh no its Purl Arbor, one of the worst films ever made <throws up in a bucket> iirc that was Admiral Nimitz supposed to be saying that. What a truly dreadful film. My MiL took me to see it as a *treat* - the popcorn was good anyway!
here's the next one..
"It's not, what you thought, when you first began it; You got, what you want, now you can hardly stand it though, by now you know, it's not going to stop"

yep. quite correct, but I did make it fairly easy. I'm not a fan of Tom but his performance in Magnolia was superb and I do have a lot more respect for his acting ability now - Minority Report, Last Samurai, WoTW, I can watch him in anything now he plays grittier characters. Couldn't stand his pretty boy Cocktail/Top Gun rubbish, although Jerry Maguire gave a bit more taste of what he was capable of.
your turn then.
your turn then.
oh flip, no-ones gonna do it Brassed Off, Pete Postlethwaite as Danny. its about a Northern Brass Band.
so, my turn again...
direct connection with the previous film
"I don't have much money but boy if I did, I'd buy a big house where we both could live. If I were a sculptor, but then again, no. Or a man who makes potions a traveling show. I know it's not much.."

Final Countdown?
(yay FD that was a total guess by me, it just sounded familiar and I remembered that the Martin Sheen character had to be careful that he said he worked for the Dept of the Navy when he spoke to the Senator from 1941. how's that for dredging memory; i don't google my answers! )
