New Zero Tolerance Policy ----- REVISED EDITION -----

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

New Zero Tolerance Policy ----- REVISED EDITION -----

I'm Sorry about all the problems and arguments that have been happening lately.

We apologize and accept responsibility for not seeing it coming and not doing something about it sooner and also for a few things we shouldn't have said.

We are trying to find a solution that will be beneficial to everyone.

Thank You all very much.
from the TLR Staff.

*Pops head out from shadows* Well *that* certainly puts my mind at ease. What is that meant to accomplish BP? Aren't you worried that such the use of such carte blanche authority (ie. deletions and editing) will do more harm than good? Hmm, didn't I already say that in another thread? I did! Damn it, I sound like a broken record! *Re-enters shadows shaking head*

What Bp actually says is: When you don't post any offensive or truly negative (criticisism is oke) threads, you'll be just fine. Learn to read people

And ff: man, you just dropped a couple of places on my respect ladder.

Post Wed Mar 02, 2005 3:20 am

don't be so bl**dy patronising and obtruse Wiz, doesnt suit you guy. you learn to read; what criteria? was the question, which you havent answered, just parroted out the Party line.

i know you're an intelligent and ok guy but this slavish loyalty in the face of blatant wrongness just makes you look as bad as the people you're defending. might get kudos off the staff but drops your respect level right down, and don't lean on ff ok? he's a m8 and a good lad, have a go at me all u want but lay off Ben.

Must have missed my smiley at the end there Taw

Part of being a team means never to fall off your comrades in public. I'll never do so. If I've got a problem with something someone did, I'll adress that person, or someone else who's in charge by email or msn, but I'll never attack that person who is part of team in public.

As for the "attack" on Ben. Comparing these silly conclusing to the dictatorship Hitler used in the 30's and 40's (for the people who don't get it: he's refering to "Sieg Heil", the two words people used to cheer at Hitler) is just wrong. I hope you can see that.

and birds of a feather flock together, Wiz. Know a man by the company he keeps.

Word has it that any thread that doesnt make reference to the benevolant and all-loving "party" will be locked and through a visit to the ministry of truth, will be "corrected". Sounds like a good idea to me. If there's one thing people dont need, its free will and an opinion eigh mods?

Is critisism not a negative comment?

Post Wed Mar 02, 2005 6:03 am

i thought it was doing fine until Wilde wen mad ...

Post Wed Mar 02, 2005 6:09 pm

I dont have a problem with locking threads like "I hate these people and blah blah" But i was hoping for a more detailed description of what you intend to lock. If someone says it camly, presents a decent argument on why they want change of TLR i think that should be listened to.

*Bites his tounge from saying several things that come to mind*

I am not sure this solves the problem...Are we still allowed to offer constructive criticism?

And what do you consider offensive and negative, vis a vis what is simply constructed with a bit of anger/passion thrown in? People are only human, after all.
