A backup date is there for in case your real date can't make it for some or another reason

So, what your the backup date already has a date, and your real date cant make it?

Chances for that aint very big since you and the baack up aint in the same school, but the honrouble thing to do would be to get another date. Imo the backup expires as soon as the backup gets a date to the same prom
