Black Shadows AKA Urban Legends
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.
Ever since I have read this thread I have had difficulty sleeping at night and even being in dark areas. It's gotten so bad I keep the (attack)dog in my room at night while I'm trying to get to sleep. It's nice to know there's an extra pair of eyes and (enhanced)ears. Although it's unnerving when she pricks her ears up and looks in a direction when I can't see or hear what's there.

Now that you guys got me thinking about it some weird stuff happens
around my house, like when i've been home alone I could swear that
I heard people moving about upstairs but no ones there, and when im
sitting in the office by myself i hear keys being pressed on the pc thats
on the other side of the shelf beside me.
Curse you lot, now I have to sleep with a metal pipe beside me.

What? In the Ring things jump out of your T.V. and grab you? I'm sacred now. The only time I sleep now is between 7 P.M. and 1 A.M. My imagination is really vivid sometimes. The picture of the Hoboken Monkey man really just petrified me. When I saw it it made me freeze for a second, then I scrolled really fast up the page. I can't even look at it now. Or like the pictures of the Jersey Devil *shudders*. It was really hard to come out of under the covers and pillows today when I hid under them. Yay the dawn has come, I'm safe for another day.

Regarding shirts.
Not so hard to do, all you need is a flat bottom boat or pirogue and a long pole to push yourself around. Since it is a swamp, at night, no one will see you doing it.
Regarding Monkey Man.
Hoboken and Bayonne are all part of the geographic area in which legends of the Jersey Devil have predated the Monkey Man. If you look at the drawing of the Monkey Man, he looks a lot like an exagerrated tamarind monkey, even down to the teeth.
Anyway, the point behind the Monkey Man is that he kept getting sighted a schools... gee, I wonder what that was all about

If you want a really scary story check this out.
You won't ever look at a cave in the same way again, and if you're mildly claustrophobic, this will make you feel reeeally awful. It's a long read but well worth it.

I watched the American version of The Ring and it was f*cking scary. Really f*cking scary. You know the strangest coicidence is after it finished I fumbled to turn off the tv (I have a cable box and a tv). And I took the tv remote and when I grabbed it I accidentally switched channels and the next one was all static. Scared my sh*tless and I just looked away and while looking at the wall with my eyes closed turn it off hehe. Oh and I read that Cave Story, thats wierd too. I wonder when the guy will update his story, the last page just says hes going back in. Maybe for creep factor? who cares anyway that story really spooked me because during my vacation I actually wanted to go explore a cave aswell.

I saw The Ring couple times...its not very scary. OHHHHHHH...dead girl coming from my TV, god please help me!!. To tell ya the truth it was almost boring, kind of too slow, its ok movie...but there were better.
Anyway...to continue it on the weird thread:
This time...the Annie's Road
I read this some time back, and when we were discussing this in school 2 days ago I was about to talk about it when my friend started talking about it as well. (it was kind of weird as we both started talking about the same thing at the same time ) So I will start from his own experience than go to the things said on the site I read it at.
My friend said that last Tuesday he and his family decided to visit the annies road and sleep there just to see what happens. As they came there it was all very normal, and as night fell they went to sleep in the car. After some time noises started coming from all around them. He said it was weird noises, noises that could not be explained. After couple minutes passed they decided that it was getting scary so they decided to get the hell out of there. His dad tried to start the car, but he would not even get the contact for the lights, and engine did not even want to start. After gathering some courage his father decided to slowly go out and check the engine to see if there was something wrong with it...but the door would not budge, simply u could not open them. After about 20 minutes of horror all noises suddenly stopped, and car engine started without even turning the key. Scared as hell he and his family got the hell out of there as fast as they could.
Well that’s the story he said, not sure how true it is...but it did sound interesting. And now for facts and other peoples survival.
Anyway, as this road is very close to place where I live...I might go there and check it out if I gather enough courage that is . According to my friend its couple minutes drive on the highway and its also road towards the Midgetville so there might be something interesting to see

MAIN OBJECTIVE: Do not watch The Ring.
Secondary objective: Don't look at anything scary.
Thirdly objective: Don't read anything scary.
Okay if I follow that plan for a couple I should be fine I'm a little calmer now. Hopefully I'll fall asleep at my appropriate time tonight. I go to track and that tires me out and I fall asleep at like 6 instead of 11.
We go for victory!
