This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Yeah, I hate the way the Eleven Plus (Non-brits may not know it. It's an exam taken at the end of primary school to assess, basically how intelligent you are, so that Grammer schools can cream away the dumbasses abd cream intelligent people in seperate schools) will be banned. I mean, this will mean an almost total lack of seperation between the stupid and intelligent. Which basically means that the stupid will be forced to doing far more work than they can handle, whereas the intelligent people will be almost completely devoid of any kind of intellectual stimulation, due to their work being far too easy.

This concerns me, especially, because, due to fact that I am incredibly intelligent, as well as the one of the laziest people on the face of the planet, I am in one of the lower classes (well, middle actually, but still...), which means I get to see first hand the stupidity of the people who now populate our schools. This is a middle class in one of the best schools in NI, which means that, when the 11+ is banned, this school will become infintely worse, as people of an even lower grade of intelligence will now welcomed into the school. Fortunately, I will be well out of here before this can affect me, but I'm worried about future generations, who will grow up as idiots, when, if the 11+ was still here, they could be productive members of society.

Oxford and Cambridge (Maybe there are better English examples, I don't know)

Hull?

@Corsair, I sympathise with you, for I go to a GRAMMAR school and the people there are so thick it's just unbearable. Not only that, but we have to follow a syllabus suited for everyone in Britain. To give you an example, provided we can quote key catchphrases in biology, we can breeze through the exam. i.e. "Electrical impulses travel from sensory neurones to relay neurones in the spinal cord or brain". Zzzzzz. Whatever, how unexciting. I'm being tied to the ground in chemistry by people who can't accept that iodide carries a -1 charge or worse, actually FORM and ion in the first place. Before I came here, I was doing A-Level stuff in French and now... we're still doing the perfect tense. I agree that the entire education system is dumbed down to an astronomical (or should it be microscopic if it's down?) level to ensure that parents of thick students can't sue for having their poor little darlings underperform and appear bottom of the class. Who the hell came up with the idea for compulsory schooling. Let the retards sit and rot for all I care, and let the reasonably smart people handle the thinking. Bring on the Brave New World.

Alright, I'll stop now.
