Windows LongHorn!
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I think that you are overestimating my abilities, old fruit. I need experience m(and a full-time job) before I start playing around with RAID and Unix. I've used RAID and Unix on a few occasions, but I will not attempt to troubleshoot them. Still, I think about the problems for you. I know that you were only partially serious, but now I feel inadequate .
Radeon 7000 can display 32 bit graphics where are you coming from wolfy

I feel like I've missed out on half of the conversation here. Where did this come from, and why is it in this thread?
Wolfy - Some older graphics cards cannot support 32-bit colour in high resolutions; that might be your problem. It also could be game incompatibility, or even old drivers. Which version of Catalyst are you using, and which game are you trying to play?

"Catalyst" is the name the ATI give their driver suite, old son. They are currently up to Catalyst 4.2. Which driver version are you running? The original drivers that came with your card, or some newer ones?
Edit: Catalyst 4.2 supports the Radeon 7000, so it will be compatible with your card.

Wolfy, do what Uncle Esq says and uninstall and reinstall your video drivers, Esq he might have his monitor resolution and refresh rate set wrong and if the monitor doesnt support the resolutionhes set to the card will knock it down to something it can support. Accept the fact that Wolfy's trashed his PC. Lack of patience. i bet his dad's fed up to the back teeth, my daughters the same, forever demanding solutions to problems she's caused (the computers not working funny how mine never breaks its not my fault yes it is )
there should be a driving licence for PCs and everyone should be on limted accounts and administrated by a neighbourhood server admin using the Tawakalnic code of never letting anyone do anything ever.

My video card is doing that now evene though I am on an operating system incompatible with the card and I get better results update the catalyst like they said reinstall as much as necessary then it should work
