JK2 WAS very good, but what did you think about JKA? The textures were nice and you can't go past the funky dual lightsabers, but the gameplay/plot was not as good.

According to starwars.com the ships are Acclamator-Class trans-galactic military transport ships and were built by Rothana Heavy Engineering

XvT/BoP, imho the best and hardest SW game (well Force Commander was harder but only cos it was tot-cr*p) Taw=the Werner Molders of the Imperial Navy. SW is only any good to me if I can be Imperial, I hate the Rebels and Luke and the Ewoks and the stupid droids especially R2. I'm so on the Empire's side that I'd reshoot RotJ so that the Empire wins (Luke dies and DV loyally serves the Emperor forevermore) and me doorbell plays the Imperial March. I've never undertaken a campaign mission as a Rebel and even in training I just shoot other Rebel ships with whatever Rebel ship I'm practising in. Hate the Rebel Alliance - scum.

I'll never forget the tagline that got me to buy NOT TF and Defender of the Empire but XvT/BoP "why ponce about with that poof Luke and the gay Rebels when you can be m8s with big Darth?" well it sold it to me!

(Edited to save face for Arch) yeh that was definitely the game I was thinking of, how silly of me to think it might have been Tie Fighter/Defender of the Empire when of course it was X-Wing v. Tie Fighter all along.

Arcon - There's an expansion for XWA? Is it by Lucasarts or modders? Also, are there any modern games like XWA? I would LOVE a DX9 Star Wars flight sim!

I agree with Arcon™, I'm familiar with most of the SW ships (down to TIE drones and Ssi-ruuk ships) and I've never heard of a TIE wing as an actual individual craft.
A TIE wing is a squadron of Twin Ion Engine craft of the same specification, at least thats what it was in X-wing the game.

I don't think I've read the corellian series(I used to read loads of sw books ages ago), d'you mean the 'uglies', salvaged TIE fighters often consisting of the pod and tacked on or repaired engines?
