@Esq, sorry for the late response, I was too busy watching Red Dwarf then LotR Return of the King.
Everyone else answered to how long I've been a Port Commodore. So I won't. But Duriel said that exact quote in the thread I was talking about, meaning "Could you send up the Hall Porter - there appears to be a frog in my bidet?"
@Arcon, I'm American and I love British humour!
I don't like American much at all. Monty Python, Red Dwarf, Black Books, Absolutely Fabulous, even the old Avengers series wth Diana Rigg as the fastastic Emma Peel! Not really a comedic show perhaps, but quite funny and charming most of the time. And except for Black Books I have all the shows on DVD.
The newer episodic Britcoms I don't like as much. The ones that are more influenced by American TV. Or should I said tele? I sort of liked Cold Feet when it was on, but the laughs didn't come as often. And some here might remember me asking if the early morning chat show The Big Breakfast was still on, because when I visited England I thought that show was hilarious, really started me off for enjoyable day in your country.
@Everyone, I really don't think the movie is going to happen. The longer they wait, the less enthusiasm for it. I know they've put together scripts and reading sessions, the site even has some story boards, but be realistic the best time was as soon after the end of the series as possible. And that was what 4 or 5 years ago. I don't even know. I've only ever seen 2 episodes from either series 7 or 8.
@Indy11, NO TALKING LIKE HEY!!
