DFLW/TFD=Delta Force:Land Warrior/Task Force Dagger, both total kak, except in TFD u at least get to be SAS with proper SAS weapons and kit.
ok Taw story time - when i was at uni, like mid '80s (after i left the RN) I went out for a couple of years with a girl from Hereford, whose brother was an SAS Sergeant (complete loon btw; very strange bunch of men they are) her mum worked as a kitchen assistant in the SAS camp at Hereford and they did in fact live right across the road from the base on Redhill. U could always spot the SAS guys in Hereford as distinct from any of the other Army blokes u might see around as they're usually quiet and solitary but don't look "right" they usually look very uncomfortable and out of place. I've mucked about with a few of the so-called "elite" Regiments in me time, Royal Marine Commandos/SBS, Paras, even some American Delta Force dudes, but the SAS are completely different to any of them. And they are absolutley no fun to be around, no sense of humour whatsoever. but if i was a hostage, i know who I'd want rescuing me - the SAS and no-one else.
ok back on topic now!
