yay!
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.
I play MOHAA (not the sh*tty expansions) almost every night, again, because I got so p*st off with DFLW/TFD and I've done Ghost recon and Flashpoint ot death. There's always H&D of course but that's really hard! can't wait for me Xmas Call of Duty
after Call of Duty i think I'll go back to FL until Rome:Total War comes out, then HL2, if we ever see it.

You can't appreciate StarLancer like I can unless you played it before FreeLancer. The gaming engine is simply amazing and is far superior to FreeLancer. Too bad they didn't release any expansions...
It seems that StarLancer is like the Hovis Mission. Some people find it incredibly easy (like yours truly) and some find it hard. As for the Ion Cannon mission, try the Shroud (cloak, uncloak, cannon retargets).

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.
It's one of the best WWII FPS. Together with CoD (Call of Duty)

DFLW/TFD=Delta Force:Land Warrior/Task Force Dagger, both total kak, except in TFD u at least get to be SAS with proper SAS weapons and kit.
ok Taw story time - when i was at uni, like mid '80s (after i left the RN) I went out for a couple of years with a girl from Hereford, whose brother was an SAS Sergeant (complete loon btw; very strange bunch of men they are) her mum worked as a kitchen assistant in the SAS camp at Hereford and they did in fact live right across the road from the base on Redhill. U could always spot the SAS guys in Hereford as distinct from any of the other Army blokes u might see around as they're usually quiet and solitary but don't look "right" they usually look very uncomfortable and out of place. I've mucked about with a few of the so-called "elite" Regiments in me time, Royal Marine Commandos/SBS, Paras, even some American Delta Force dudes, but the SAS are completely different to any of them. And they are absolutley no fun to be around, no sense of humour whatsoever. but if i was a hostage, i know who I'd want rescuing me - the SAS and no-one else.
ok back on topic now!
