@Imagine, that 405 thing is fascinating. Having driven on the 405 that would make one helluva landing. I like shorts, I have seen a lot of them. But for some reason, maybe just my own self-criticism I can't really write short stories that can be transferred to film. If you were to film any of my plays on TLR, they would end up being at least 30-45 min for Much Uba and probably an 60 min for Zlothello. And a short as defined is 20-25 min or less.

Desdenuba: Just screw this light bulb of her life!!

Forced a double take. Were you planning for this line ahead of time?
No, actually I didn't. I was incorporating Shakespeare's imagery from the real Othello then it just hit me that if someone kept saying the same thing the other would get annoyed by it and try to hurry things up. As for the light bulb specifically, I can't really tell you how I came up with that. I just said it and it worked.
Another quote from the Site Suggestion Forum:
actually, it is longer than it's funny. I don't really have a great sense of humor.
If you made that short story up, then you are funnier than you think. Humor isn't always about gutwrenching laughter. Sometimes it's a joke that makes you smile from time to time. I can't tell you how many AWESOMELY FUNNY jokes I've forgotten, but somehow the ones that aren't hysterical, but just fun or clever, I'll remember for a long time.
