I came from my mother who bore me. But what you mean by the statement in the highlighted text? My name in the ... O? What is it you mean?

I wrote my first book when I was 13, I have since completed 2 more. I now write screenplays for films, of which I have written 5 and have started 3 others.

I have not sold any yet. So I am attempting to put together a film of my own right now. I have many pieces of the process solved except for the most important, being that of financing.

Hehe! I liked myself immensely! Sly, treacherous, yet attractive. That's me!
@ff: good luck! If I'm such a villain, you gotta a an ever bigger one to be able to EVER seek revenge on me!

Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

That and ff is dead.

RIP!

P.S. Spectre, you called me a bastard in thy play (though using the mouth of an ignorant citizen). I think I'm gonna have serious talk with my mom about it. I'll let you know once i find out anything.
P.S.S. I'm totally drunk, and the fact that I'm spoiling everyone's life here at TLR should say sth.
Geez, guys, I luv ya all!

Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Zlo, you don't have to tell us when you're drunk - that's a given just tell us when you're NOT drunk, you'll get less RSI that way :p

OK, I'll keep that in mind.
The problem is that I'm either too sober to post or too drunk to be understood

It's Zlo's subversive way to get you to drink Fear Factor. Look to your office, watch Zlo well.

You really should go for it. Shorts are easy to make just by yourself. Try http://pocketmovies.net/, there is a pretty good collection of short films people have done by themselves.

I'm not making a short, it's a full feature film. I have already worked for 20th Century Fox, so I do know some things about doing films. Also, I wrote my film to be low budget. Meaning I can get all my locations for free and specifically avoid costly story hitches {ie, driving in a car, being in a stadium; none of those things}.

kewl! u worked for Fox, what did u do?

I would have loved to have worked in the film industry, special effects, lighting, modelmaking and set design, all that sort of stuff. i also have more than a passing interest in cinematography, though panning pretty pictures is about all I've ever done.

These articles were for the short "405," I think you've heard of it before

Not sure what to conclude.

@Tawakalna, I was what we call regionally a gopher, but they don't call anything otherwise they would have had to pay me and credit me in the movie I worked on. In my area of USA we say someone is a gopher if they generally do a little of everything. I go for this, I go for that. I gopher.

The film I worked on was Joe Somebody with Tim Allen, Julie Bowen & Jim Belushi. I wasn't paid a salary until the last few days of shooting, because I was just a Locations Assistant. I was actually only suppose to work a few days, but I kept showing up regardless if they wanted me, because they always ended up needing me anyway.

Through dilligence and hard work, the raised me to Production Assistant. I was the only person on the set to be elevated. Films are too short of time frames for promotions so to get one is extraordinary. But I wasn't just a PA, I was everything. I helped out every department and asked a reasonable number of questions, so as to get advice but not to annoy them. I had a good time. Learned a lot.

@Imagine, that 405 thing is fascinating. Having driven on the 405 that would make one helluva landing. I like shorts, I have seen a lot of them. But for some reason, maybe just my own self-criticism I can't really write short stories that can be transferred to film. If you were to film any of my plays on TLR, they would end up being at least 30-45 min for Much Uba and probably an 60 min for Zlothello. And a short as defined is 20-25 min or less.

Imagine (quoted from Mod Registry thread in Site Suggestion Forum):

This one was pretty bright
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Desdenuba: Just screw this light bulb of her life!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Forced a double take. Were you planning for this line ahead of time?

No, actually I didn't. I was incorporating Shakespeare's imagery from the real Othello then it just hit me that if someone kept saying the same thing the other would get annoyed by it and try to hurry things up. As for the light bulb specifically, I can't really tell you how I came up with that. I just said it and it worked.

Another quote from the Site Suggestion Forum:

actually, it is longer than it's funny. I don't really have a great sense of humor.

If you made that short story up, then you are funnier than you think. Humor isn't always about gutwrenching laughter. Sometimes it's a joke that makes you smile from time to time. I can't tell you how many AWESOMELY FUNNY jokes I've forgotten, but somehow the ones that aren't hysterical, but just fun or clever, I'll remember for a long time.
