@ Gromit ... I've never been satisfied with my fictional efforts. I was once Bangkok correspondent for a Japanese paper, paid well and in yen! At the same time, I was Bangkok correspondent for a Singaporean business magazine that went bust and never did pay me. But where I really got stiffed was in copywriting. Lots of advertisers don't come across with the money unless you track them down with an Uzi!

My nephew has been freelance web designing for a couple of years and already has been short changed thousands by some clients!

At least Trent is a freelancer who gets to kill people he doesn't like ...

We who are about to die salute you!

I used to be.

p.s. I think most of the teens have moved on already. Short attention span maybe. Us "old fellers" are the ones who are left.

@puke sounds like you've had a hard run of it, ever thought about getting back into the writing? or are you a full-time writer nowadays? its the only problem with freelancing, everybody wants things cheap, and then they don't pay for it! I hope your nephew sticks with it though, its disheartening when you get stiffed, but its worth it when you get one high-paying happy client, know what i mean? I reckon Trent's got the right idea...no money, no life, you choose.

@warlord bob don't worry about it, we don't bite...

@agent smith why are you still here? do you often find forums for stuff you're not interested in and slag off those people that are? (hmmm...I think I might go and flame a knitting forum) oh...and I hate to tell ya this, but...you're older than you were yesterday...and tomorrow you'll be older than you are now...and next year you may discover hair in strange places....and in four years you'll find out that Santa doesn't exist...and in ten years you may work out that your parents had sex once...

man, warlord bob is only two years older than you and he seems a whole generation more mature...isn't it past your curfew?
