Where is everyone from?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

28, male, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I just started playing this wonderful game again. I played the hell out of it about a year ago but then I got distracted by BF1942. And now I'm back. I haven't checked out the forum in ages either, though.

I forgot how beautiful the Freelancer universe is. I'm hooked right back in again, which I think says a LOT for the replayability of this game.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a million times, so you can flame me if you want, but is there a possible expansion or sequel in the works?

@harcan your command of english amazes me...it really puts us Brits to shame. I speak english poorly and I can swear in 8 languages, but apart from that I don't know any other languages at all!

@jollysoul - its nice to see a true vet on here! the atari rocked, but I'll never forget the day I first got my Amstrad 64K CPC464 with a tape deck built into the keyboard! Although I can't believe how much patience I used to have - wait half an hour for a game to load, which then crashes, adjust the volume a little and wait another half hour, crash, volume change, half an hour....etc etc. It was just the sheer pleasure you'd get out of daley thompson's decathlon when it finally loaded! aaaah them were the days

sorry, I've gone off topic again, I shall go away, sit in a corner and slap myself repeatedly on behalf of the admin team.

I'm thinking this thread should have ( and your computing history) added to the subject.

@gromit----Well, it all started with my father-in-law and him getting a Commodore Vic-20 with a tape deck for loading programs. It game with a poker game and been hooked on computer gaming since. I eventually got me a Commodore 128 with a 1571 5 1/4" floppy drive. Played mostly C-64 games though as not many C-128 games were out yet but the C-128 was able to go into C-64 mode. It was 2 systems in one basicly.

@Steel----Oh man, I know what ya mean about going through the joysticks. Nothing worse than to have your fire button quit working when your almost done with a wave of invaders. So many times you would @!#!$%#@! the thing!

Stay frosty out there!!! "Check"-Trent
