Where is everyone from?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Where is everyone from?

Just curious and interested. I've been coming to the discussion forum for almost two months now and you build up ideas about who the regular posters are. You have your're Nickless and Sherlog types who help anyone without flaming for even the simplist questions, Lethal Larry who seems to be shooting for Commodore in the quickest time ever using only base location and Xeno posts. Some who don't have a great command of english and are presumably non english speakers. So where are the regulars from, what do you do outside of Freelancer (eg occupation).

I know someone is going to flame for this post but what the hell, It would be interesting to know who the Freelancer poplus are.

Hi jat71 ! We have had many threads on this very subject before, so perhaps it´s best for you to check the Forum Search. You can find things in there beyond your wildest imagination

His maybe, but you don't know MY imagination!!!!

Come on Eraser, everyone knows the search is pants, and for a question like this its likely to have out of date answers. Seriously, if people can't ask the same question twice without getting flamed then we'll end up with topics such as "if freelancer was an animal, what animal would it be?" or "what is the colour red?". If you don't want to answer the guy then don't!

My only comment on this thread - its in the wrong forum (off topic?).

Wow, Gromit ... you're a real Freelancer!

p.s. I was a freelance writer for a while. Problem was too often free meant you didn't get paid! I don't even want to think about the money that is still owed me.

lol. yeah I suppose I never thought about that! A freelance writer??! Seriously? Thats cool! Fictional/Non-Fictional or Technical?

I know what you mean about people taking you for a ride though, sometimes you have to be MD, sales, monkey AND baillif!

Eraser, try using the forum search it unless it's something very specific (level 10 shield, base location) you don't always get the results you're after. Also there have beeen a lot of recruits here in just the last two months and I have seen no post like this during those two months. The demografic is already interesting for me as so far there have been 3 real life Bretonians ....... and the occupation I read points to older players - rather than the teen section - yeah it's only 3 people but it's a start.

"Although I do not consider myself a member of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, I find that their goals and mine often follow the same path. I will aid them when I can...if they give me a percentage of the salvage from whatever they frag along the way. Hell, they were even so kind as to sell me a ship after one of my jobs with them, and I've been flying her ever since. But god help them if someone puts a bounty on THEIR heads, for I don't care who I hunt for, as long as their live capture(or untimely death) can get me enough credits to buy a decent sized mug of my favorite drink."- A Freelance Bounty Hunter.
