Frontierspace v1.74
Here you can announce your own Freelancer MOD and find information about the different available packages!
Mace the "bh_tetra2_package" comes with a LF shield when it should be an HF shield, I spotted it just in time or I'd have been kicked from Sarges server.
The hunt for the missing shipdealers
Ross 128 --> Jersey Outpost
Dublin --> Graves
Edinburgh --> Islay
I'll keep an eye out for any more.

Ok, so the my mod.dll has nothing to do with it, but just deleting the .exe and the flserver files give the error message i posted before
Error: problem activating 'Frontierspace Client V1.74'
Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\Frontier space_v174\exe\Freelancer.exe' to 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\exe\Freelancer.exe')
Leaving them in allows the mod to activate in flmm, but then i get the same message as fwolf when trying to start the game.
What has changed in this area since v1.0/1.1 ? As the earlier version works without any probs

It's a common problem Mace, especially among the modders who use the original freelancer.exe in thier mods.
When the budget versions arrived in Europe the TNG people had a lot of complaints about the "insert CD-Rom" issue.
The only way around it is to replace your .exe with either the illegal hacked noCD exe (FD's favourite ), or get someone with the Ubisoft or Explosiv versions to send you thier legal noCd exe.

Try deleting the freelancer.exe and flserver.exe from the un activated mod folder and restart FLMM. Then see if you can activate it.
I think FLMM is making a list of the files in the mod folder then looking for the ones you have deleted.
Or, you could try copying the origninal game's exe's to a temp folder and copy them over the top of the FS ones when activated.

Head over to MACE's site forum and you'll find a thread by me with a LINK to a download that will fix the "Insert CD-Rom" problem.
I'm not posting the actual download link here as the noCD is frowned upon here at TLR, despite half of the mods in the downloads using it
