Erm - systems (gonig to bed now as i have work in 4hours 30mins)

Off of Frankfurt is the new rheinland system. Cannot miss it as i shifted a planet slightly to make way for the tradelane at a junction of tradelanes

Off of galileo is the Guixiang? system - also off of honshu system. Yet again - look for the new tradelanes that were never there before

New Liberty one is off of Magellan, LA, and also off of Texas.

New Bretonian one is hidden - can be got to via Tau 31? (the one off of leeds) with the jumphole being 20k up and bottom left of the map (not too far from planet harris though - so about mid map?) - also is accessable through edinburgh - past the lux liner to find the jumphole i think......(or jumpgate - cannot remember) and in that system is the mine maze. Its tough - don't think anyone will ever find the secret base (i removed all the bouys that guide you there - and then shifted them round in the ini file so you cannot just reactivate them - aint i nasty - lol).

Ships - dunno - they are alll over hte place. Now the new planets bases are different. Found Mojave and also the one next to Planet Pitts i take it? there are another 6 of those around FL - you know of the one in Alpha i take it though - but there are 2 or 3 that are well hidden, and probs not known about either. Have you found all bases in the systems too? The Florida system has about 10 bases (4 are the planet though) and the other one has lots too......hehe. Have you found the jumphole to Sigma13 from Guixiang provence? - or the jumphole from Florida to Omega 3? Lots to find i think- including nomad fighter wrecks as well......hehe - keep searching, there is plenty if you look hard enough!

The OpenSP Police, BH, Outcast, Corsair, and Pirate mods crash with FLMM 1.2.1 and won't work with FLMM 1.2, but the OpenSP Trader one does?!? Is there any reason this should happen? Oh yeah, and in answer to one of your many earlier questions, i've seen House police flying the new VHFs, but no crashes either. I've been to all the bases in the Florida nd Guangzou (or something) systems, but I can't find these Bretonian and Rheinland systems! Could you give us a rundown of all the new systems/bases/planets so we can see if they match up right. BTW Chips, I love the OpenSP battleship encounters, especially the Nomad battleships in Bretonia and Liberty. The patrols from the systems just get taken out like flies!

Thanks for including me in beta-testing this MOD, but I have one more question:
Are there any FL Servers running this MOD online?

Erm - i think Termoshad is running one online - not sure. I know that some of my testers are running private LANS - but that is with good reason right now - mainly as there could be people (not saying anyone would) who would cheat - and this way i know its a 'sterile' environment for testing. I have to say that so far there have been no crashes around Omicron Theta either - so not sure what was going on at all.

This is why tests online MUST NOT have anything added - or anyone hacking files. I need to know that the code stands up in the systems etc, and someone either running extra server software, patches, or cheaters and hackers etc might interferre with that process. If i could afford to run a server - i would....but i cannot. I might do when the next release comes up (i have put a few things extra in to make hunting systems a more 'viable' option). There have been lots of bugs fixes - but only one major one (as now the omicron theta problem is cast into doubt.....). I am fixing and tweaking things all the time (light fighters are a little bit more manoverable, some things sell more, some holes to make money sewn up, names and info cards sorted - adding turrets, removing things, adding loot stuff etc). There are a variety of things that are now ongoing to try to improve the mod. Not sure when the next release will be - but i can assure you one thing - it will be controlled. There are more things that need testing though - so the next release won't be a public one i think - but once again - i might invite a few to join in!

(oh one addition is a very valuable wreck in the maze system..........if you can get there alive that is........its worth 20million credits - but i doubt anyone will live to get it.........)

The maze system is off of Edinburgh (easiest way to find it) and the jumphole is somewhere past the luxury liner towards the top left hand corner of map (if you were looking at map like the screen presents it -not the direction you are pointing). The Rheinland system is off of Frankfurt - you cannot miss it. Its a new tradelane coming in at one of the stations (i moved the planet slightly).

Oh - i will sort out the bundle patches when its time for release general - as they don't play much part in testing. However, there will be an included Open SP to anywhere for SP testing in the next version

I have a little problem, not sure if it has anything to do with the MOD. When I log on my LAN server, all rep is back to neutral. All factions. I have re-installed on both server and clients, but the problem wont go away.

That aside, we have played for 30+ hours now on this LAN, and have no problems at all. Some minor glitches that's allready been refered to, but hey, it's a test.

need more info on that location of that hidden system is it multi player or not you said in tau31 n edinburg bro n me cant find it (the one with the maze) what location like 4f or some thing we tryed both systems up/down/left/forward/back both systems in grid formation i no you said left of lux liner n up tried still cant find

Okay, easiest way is this (SP only though....hee hee). Here is one of my OpenSP mods - however, this cheeky little number will plonk you straight in at the station in there, with about 1 mil in cash. From their i suggest that you fly towards a jumphole. you should be able to (note should) buy a ship on the base, but if you cannot, you might be in trouble - LOL. Anyways - it gets you into the system. Just download it and appear at the military base there. Enter the minefield at your own peril.........

(by the way, yes it is supposed to be bloody impossible to find your way around most of it, there is some light - but in other parts there is NONE! Mwhahaahhaa

Oh bugger, well - the base should be right - not sure. Dammit - means am gonna have to find the bloody jumphole myself. Have got to go to be (its 3am) but will either sort it out for tomorrow (as in a working one - i don't think i named the base wrong), or post coords for the hole (means i gotta break out my scooter and head over there..............waht am i saying, i cheat, and find it. if you cannot wait that long, use FLExplorer, and then just open the mod up, go to Br08 system and then search for the jumphole from Edinburgh (or dublin) to it. that is the most accurate and best way, as honestly - you could fly right by the thing. The only other thing i could do is put a file up tomorrow where the jumphole is a nomad jumpgate, and you can see them from about 40k away - handy.

Am confused here. Is this TEMP mod the same as your OPENSP mod? That there is a nomad gate somewhere in the edinburgh or dublin system? (may go check it out).

Your increased bandwith usage should convince most MP modders that single player mods are still popular.

No - there is no Nomad gate in that system, i was saying that to make it easier for you to find the system i could send you a file that would make it INTO a nomad jumpgate rather than a jumphole. Howver, i am tied up at the moment with Omicron theta crashes - which are being a pain in the butt.......nothing is wrong in the coding, so i am going through it takeing bits out at a time, and then trying to find out if its crashing. In the mean time i also have a load of other mods going too - so its all fun and games. I wouldn't worry too much about that system though - mainly as i really did test it myself as i built it. I had too - remember that it has corridors through the mines - i had to make sure that it really really did, so i flew through it about 100 times to check - no joking, it took nearly a week to get that one working.


Oh - and yes, SP mods are what i am also trying to cultivate too. I personally enjoy MP alot, but the SP is almost the forgotten game now, and hence why i made those mods. Bring back SP popularity - as the guys are overlooked (okay - they get ships, but NEVER EVER do they get any ideas to boost their game. However - my next SP mod is a little bit more adventorous - so it could be interesting to see its welcomeness. Have a feeling it will be a slow burner. The other mods shifted about 2000 downloads so far (about 1300 from TLR on first version, about 500 now, and about 300 from my site too)

Chips, I'd be happy to play w/ your beta mod and tell of things gone odd. I wouldn't be much help identifying like what files it might be but could give reports of goofy stuff in play.
