although a deathstar would be a simple task to make, imagine how ****ing big it would be. have you seen the star destroyer pics!? now imagine those a million times bigger. itd take forever to get around a deathstar, let alone dock with one. of course, it would be kind cool, but then realizing it would only have one laser which would have to have a refire rate of one shot about every 10 min (600 seconds). but then it would also probably ahve about a hundred turrets. im not sure if the game would be capable of doing something like that. and as for the gunship, its making progress. i ahve two textures done, im working on doing the lighting (the textures are dark even with brightness on 100%, which is what i normally use my pc on. so most people are gonna wind up needing to turn their computer to that setting if they want to use it.)

wassupp, you've got a point about the DS. That would be hard to pull off. Plus if you read the tech manuals, the original death star could take up to 4 hours to recharge it's superlaser! The second one was about 20 mins!

I'm excited about the gunship idea though. But I agree with ether dragon, and I beleive I posted this before, we NEED a republic cruiser. Do you think you could make one wassupp? If you or porshe could do it, that would be ultra cool. Porshe already made that excellent Correllian Corvette, and they're about the same size.

PS, I think I'm gonna make a thread about the cruiser.

You're idea sounds cool about the ISD's and all, but you'd probably want to use a Escort Frigate or M/FRG, cause a ISD's a little big for the freelancer universe. It could probably consume a BS whole. Oh, you probably wouldn't get a job from a stormtrooper, remember TIE Fighter, where the imperial officer gave the missions out? That would be kinda cool! You could have the stormtroopers as equipment dealers though. That would be neat! Great idea sith lord, there's not enough unique base mod's out there!

I say that one thing that should take high priority is the imperial (or if possible the super) star destroyer. It would be outstanding to replace a battleship with one of these masterpieces.

Someone mentioned earlier about a death star. Maybe it would be possible to change a dockable planet's skin to a death star, so you could make it as a base, but I'm not sure how that would be done.

I'm gonna go in another direction from all the sci-fi space vehicles and say "How about an SR-71 Blackbird?". It looks like some sort of space plane to begin with and I think the design is truly genius, way to go skunk works.

im really doubtfull if i can make a republic cruiser. im goign to try a Hacyon Cruiser from the Halo storyline, and base it off of the pillar of autumn design.
