Anyone show any interest in my modern mod idea? Like have a flying care (back to the future?) F-zero stuff like Captian Falcons cruiser from SSBM. Samus Arans Ship maybe. Navy,Army,Air Force, and Commerical/Private PLanes? Like an F-22 or a Mig-19 or The Space Shuttle Discovery?

sith thats the point though, get old school vehicles, even from world war 2, and use them. Use 20th century planes,cars,and stuff. like that doughnut boy, a flying saucer, almost anything. Just to make the game more fun instead of more space like, we need a break. Like have a flying caddillac. or make a flying nun thingy.....make Mothra! Make a P-51 Mustang or a submarine from world wars. Possibilities are endless.

Heve to do some texturing, detailing, scaling, coding, but that shouldn't take to long. I finished the 2-D, 3-D stage today.

Throw in real firepower:
Destroyer and Assault carrier
Scroll down to Destroyer and have a look, I want it, I might have to make it myself.
Count that Assault carrier in as well.
The same goes for this baby:
Righteous and Victory
Scroll down to the Righteous part, they will even make use of the technlogy that is being researched, called cloaking, by researching I mean that they are trying to make cloaking work in Freelancer. Oh man these things are something you would be dying to try.
Also that Victory class would be fun, 8 cannons compared to 4... sounds like killing time, ARRRGH can I mod the demo version?

I can't really think of any new suggestions... so I'l mention the ones I really like...

Republican Gunship - already in progress
Ragnarok (ffVIII) - no one is making it.
Homeworld ships
- Taidanii Interceptor = complete.
no other HW ships has been modded into FL
Macross ships - Idea has been tossed around. Most likely they'll be static and not
variable.
Ships from Tachyon the Fringe...
- models are avaliable for anyone who owns the game, extractor
for models is out there some where.

-Galspan Cruiser - Sweet lord she's the prettest coolest ship ever.
Esp the Persephone
Cooler than the GCNS Andromeda IMHO

- Galspan Destroyer - not as pretty nor as powerful as cruiser.
- Galspan Carrier - four hangers with wings.
- Demon fighters - Tri wing ships that look evil.
- Galspan Archangels - Simple but nice. very stylish
- Galspan Phoenix - packs heat. Looks cool.
- Galspan Pegasus - A engine with wings. sleek design. VLF like a
tasmanian devil on crack. Fun to fly.
- Galspan Orion - Strange looking but nice.
- Galspan Poseidan - bleh.
-Bora - Battleaxe - Interesting design...
- Bora Warhammer - Just uber. large profile though...
- Bora Mace - MF,
- Bora Claymore - heavy torp payload, flies like bathtub, large profile
- Bora carrier - very functional simple model.
- Bora Cruiser - Okay design, kinda neat.
-Bora Destroyer - not much to say.
TNS Reporter - Just would be a novelty
- Police Cruiser - very cool, very much like LSF and earth force.

If you need new stations look at Tachyon the Fringe. Each station is UNIQUE!!! Very cool!

Definitely wanna see a Galspan cruiser though.... Don't care if you can't fly it...just to fly by it... ^.^

i like all these new ideas for all these ships but what would be halerious would be seeing trent on a STAP from starwars but it'd have to have at least a gun mounted on the back as well. it would be seriously funny!!

I dont know if someone already mention the fighter from the starfox series, anyway that should be a cool fighter to fly with in this game, PS how do you make the ships?? wich prog do you use..........

You mean the Arwing? That would be neat. About ship editing, I use Milkshape3D for the ship, Photoshop 7 for textures, and UTF Editor for the coding.

How about someone creating the Endymion FRS MK II, Endymion FRS MK III and Astraea FGA MK I fighters from the Playstation one game " Einhänder " or the Copperhead MV-63B from the Movie Final Fantasy ?
Those where VERY COOL in design !!

I may be a little silly here but for yuks and giggles How about the first three craft form Gerry Anderson's thunderbirds? Tbird 1 would make a good fighter, Tbird 2 would make a nice freighter, and Tbird 3 would make a interesting Heavy or Very heavy fighter. Bye The way (Btw) winston, the name of the craft is called the Eagle, There was an interesting variation (But little known) called the Hawk.
Tbird 4 (The sub) would probably not work all that well but how about the flying Sub from Voyage to the bottom of the Sea? I envision it as a light but very fast and manuverable ship.
Had another thought. How about changeing one of the Space stations to look like Thunderbird 5? It's all ready a space station to begin with.
