Something is very wrong, I will upload a new version.

I need someone who can make an zip.flmod and post it up for downloading using the rar version. I can't fidn what is wrong!! The only thing I can see if that it MUST be FLMM and that it can't handle 350 files.

Slap: You may have to move (or delete) your savegames. There is a known issue (not a bug, but an issue), with Reynen's mod and the savegames (and it's not just Reynen's mod). Give that a shot and see how you go.

It seems to be working for me. Using the 6,358k .rar I extracted all the included files (incl fladmin, can't hurt) into a folder, which, to help me keep things straight, I called "Small Reynan." This name doesn't seem to matter. I placed this folder in the mods directory in the FLMM directory. Opened FLMM (1.0.1) and activated the mod, which it recognized as "Reynan's Mod 2.0 BETA 6". I had deleted any other version of reynan's nods, and have no other mods active (essentially from a clean install of FL & FLMM). I've played a bit of SP with no trouble, and even for a few minutes on B[tch's server, before it crashed, presumably because someone tried using the old mod. So, to sum up:
1. Delete, using FLMM any old version of Reynan's mod.
2. Deactivate, using FLMM all other mods.
3. Extract all files from Reynenmod206.rar (6.4 M into a single folder.
4. Place that folder in ...Freelancer Mod Manager/mods/
5. Activate, using FLMM, Reynan's Mod 2.0 BETA 6
6. Enjoy

Edit: I see Reynan has fixed it all, so follow his advice not mine. Also, IAMMARAUDER may be right, I also deleted all my saved games before trying this out (I think it was suggested in the readme?)

Ok uploaded a new version try that now people

Bob can you please cut that pic down to the same size as mine, that is a pretty huge sig.

TRY the following if you get errors installing the new version.

Download the latest FLMM: YOU NEED AT LEAST 1.1 FOR THIS TO WORK

Download the latest version from my server, links are above.

If that doens't work download the rar file and unrar the files and copy the Reynenmod206 DIR and put it under mods in the FLMM dir.

So you will have a dir that looks like this depending on where you installed it

C:\program files\freelancer mod manager\mods\Reynenmod206

I am currenly on MSN, [email protected], if you have problems installing it get on there and get ahold of me.

And YES, Server will need a p-wipe and you will need to remove all your OLD savegames as there will be conflicts with this.

I am sorry, but there is nothing I can do about that. Alot has changed.


Could I get some people to verify is the mod is installing correctly or not??? If not I want to find a fix for it.

Hi Reynen, I downloaded and installed the flmm version with no probs at 0155. cet, seems you have sorted it this time, just off to try out some of these new liberty encounters..

Seems the flmm version also work ok now ...

have enable the dl from my webpage again ...

btw pretty nice dl speed i got when i dl the mod from this page ...
where is it located ? ... the flmm version was aprox 30 sec dl and aprox 300KB/s in transfer ...

and YES i wipe the server azz from users already when i update it before (c my last post)

Shew ok good, I'm glad it's fixed now. I still don;'t know what it was that was doing it...

The files are located on my server that I have the site and the other sites on.

It's a pretty nice machine Has some nice bandwidth as you can see

REYNEN!!! NICE JOB AGIAN

defender.cmp or dragon.cmp was corrupt in the flmod version , beleive it was defender , but anyfile that has a bad crc seems to choke flmm. Best to use winzip to unzip to a temp directory, as you can see if any errors. then if no errors delete those files and use flmm as you would normally.

BIG QUESTION!! on player wipe, do you mean make a new character, or does the server need to create the config files under the mp/accounts also? (delete the whole subdirectory for multi? )

we made new characters, but see some strange things! one is hessians are hostile to new characters! (bob's beta they were nuteral) also during the big encounters the liberty fleets dont attack the hostiles at all, and vice versa.. the hess fleets pass the liberty fleets not fighting them!
ohhh and were are all those tiehessians coming from...lol ..wow, nice to beable to just get out of there with your starflier.

nice intense atmosphere tho, really makes ya move it or lose it

LOL bob the TIE's will kick anyones arse..@ entry lvl5..they dont stand a chance..hell @ lvl 38 u dont stand a chance for too long..ask the guys on my server...lmao and how come the Fleets dont battle like they did in the test file u sent me?..i thought that was the best thing i have seen in a long time.
AngelEyes nailed it too no fleet battles...shoud i just restart my server with totally new accounts?...i deleted my beta 5 player and made a new one...what do u and rey think?

I found teh problem:

Rey forgot to change the initilworld.ini.

I'll send him an updated version.


UPDATE:
I sent him the files. I also removed the ties around Manhattan so it'll be more friendly around there

What do ya guys think of the BS tho?
