Final Elite Server announcement! Good and bad.
Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

When FiiK gave notice he was looking for a host to take over the FiiK T1 Public 24/7 Freelancer server my son was heart broken, he asked if we could host it, so I built him a Server for his Birthday and we now Host the FiiK T1 Public 24/7 Server. A forum for the server, actually a main forum and each Clan/Guild also has there own Forum. KInd of like a subforum. I put hours into building the Forum, a TeamSpeak server and dealing with 9000 different personalities.
I really hate to see on off the top server drop offline as you were the one we tried to match on the TOP servers list everday. I wish all of you well from one ADMIN to another.
I have never played on your server as I ADMIN the forums for FORUM TAG changes and Game TAG changes.
I will offer just as I did to FiiK if you would allow somebody to take over the hosting of your server I will offer. I can run two just as well as I was running one. I will just have place one more mahine dedicated to Freelancer. I understand your players concerns and yours as ADMINs, but I will make the offer as I have not seen anybody openly do that in all the post I have read.
The ultimate choice is yours, but I am offering to keep ELITE online if you would allow it. I would do the same as I did with FiiKs and leave the name the same or modify it as directed. I honor those that place as much time as it takes to ADMIN a server as yours. I do know what it takes as of today our Player accounts is showing as 18,434 with a player folder count of 9343. I do not delete inactive accounts until they hit the 270 day mark. After scanning them yesterday I only found 1398 accounts more than 60 days inactive. It was surprizing.
Anyways the offer is out there for ELITE ADMIN if you want to keep it online.

Stinger and atakata, I would like to thank you guys for all the hours you put in it. It was like a child to you guys.
I can still remember the posts where you were giving all kinds of little hints about the (upcoming) server.
When MS and DA decide to make a FLO, I hope they contact you guys for a position as official MS server admin.

I read all the posts regarding this down server and I have a few questions.
1) Exactly why was the Elite server shut down? I don't know anything about admin
2) I saw a server in the UK that charges ~$6/month Is that an option? Too much paperwork and more admin probably??
