That is what I meant about posting here, It tends to attract the wrong kind of attention. I've said it often enough, but I guess some things can only be learned the hard way, but why the rest of us have to keep relearning this fact escapes me!!

No offence to any of my fellow Browclopers, I'm just pissed that the server is down.

Doc - right there with you. "Browclopsia by Browclopsians, for Browclospians." We will welcome anyone who wants to be legit - but don't like our tea being spoiled by the riffraff.

Tonights nightly bounty almost got called off on account of of rain.

But instead of ending it, I'll make it long standing and let notify all who weren't in ther server.

Justinian is bountied up via server for 1,050,000 big ones. The price will increase on his head for every day he survives. Let the hunt begin. All his Characters are fair game =)

And I (Psawhn) won it! Yaaa ha ha ha!

Here's the rundown: Stikfas wore Justinian down on two seperate accounts, but failed to strike the killing blow. I was lost in the Bering system at that time. Somehow Justinian made his way to Manhattan, and lasted quite awhile at the Eagle and Dagger posted there. (The dagger was JetPak, but I forgot the 3 letter name of the other guy (sorry about that.))
When I arrived in orbit around Manhattan, I saw the three ships dancing around eachother, and quickly joined the fray. JetPak delivered eraser missiles, the Eagle (Curse my crappy short-term memory!) (NFS or something, PLEASE correct me.) was constantly wearing down his shields, and when the shields were gone, I delivered the killing blow with my Catapult missiles. (At least, I think it was me. The issue is highly contentious, for all three of us were firing at the same time, so nobody knows who got the initial kill. Diamondbacks + Catapults look very similar in the heat of battle . I'm still holding to the fact that it was MY catapult that did it )

Because the issue was highly contentious, we all agreed to a FFA in orbit 15k directly above manhattan to determine who would get the prize money. I had bought a debilitator by this time thanks to Justinian's tip of them being availiable at Detroit. (What sportsmanship!) When we were all finally in position, the "GO" was yelled, and we all went crazy in the melee.

I forget who died first - either the Eagle(NSF?) or JetPak. At any rate, first everybody concentrated their fire on (NFS?). After his right wing (and his missile launcher) were blown off, it only took a well-timed Catapult (By yours truly) to turn his ship into Scrap Metal (sold at Manhattan for $5.)
By this time JetPak had died, so I turned my sights onto Stikfas's Valkryie. While dodging both his fire and Justinian's constant Purple Nomad Ray Guns of DooooOOOM! , I had managed to eventually wear down the heavier fighter's shields and then catapult him to AtOmIzAtIoN.
I then turned my sights on Justinian to be promptly met by his Purple Nomad Ray Guns of DooooOOOM! , when I met my demise after a mere two hits.

The resulting winner of the FFA: Justinian!
(But of course, him not being counted), The runner up was: ... Psawhn!
Now, when/(if) I get my 1 mil in prize money, I plan to embark on a journey to equip my Banshee with a "Not Sucky Loadout ™"

The unknown player is RSP. JetPak did the best he could with the Dagger. Eraser Missiles, Javelin Missile, and a couple light guns. Stiks loadout was pretty cool. GMG guns and what not. RSP had a good loadout and would have had the prize except for one issue...DIAMONDBACKS ARE NOT DUELING GUNS. Tip #1 that I learned from a dueler on the server - Dbax are good against NPCs and FLs that fly in a straight line. If you are gonna go PvP and enter dueling tournys, lose the dbacks...get some GMG guns or Nomads...just a freidnly tip.

Banshee flown by Pswahn...dont know how he had it loaded out, or how he managed to last as long as he did, but he did it. He outlasted and outflew everyone else.

Pay the man Meiyo. He earned it. LOL.

FYI - Bounty on Justinian - Thanks - it was fun. I wish Nav, Doc, Freek, or Dame had been online - it would have been interesting to say the least.

i went after Jetpack first he was the weakest link is flying. rsp died i went after psh cause i wanted justin for killing me in bering on acount i had to run to the bathroom (oh the pain) it was good battle i forgot that we could use bots and batts so i didnt use them and i went boom. so good fight hope to see more soon.

REMINDER 2 Part Rabbit Chase from Manhattan to Gamma Unknown (Planet Primus Bar & Grill!) and then from there to the Battleship Hood in Dublin. Kicker is, second part won't start until everyone is in the Unknown...Sunday, 14 SEPT 03, 1500 EST-ish

Question to the community:

Is anyone interested in a Free For All somewhere that is NPC free? How difficult is it to turn NPCs off for a while? I would put say...5 Million up for it, maybe charge a 100,000 entry fee, maybe password protect the server for the event to prevent interference...anyone?

Tourny Ideas

The Tourny Ideas I have are as follows, and I would like your feedback on them:

Regular Dueling
Freighter Dueling (I know, sounds crazy, but it is a hoot to watch)
Handicapped Dueling (1v1v1 - last man standing wins the round)
Team Dueling
Team Capture the Flag (2 Teams, 2 bases, Team Flag must dock at the opponents base and return)
Starflier Wars (FFA in Starfliers)
Free For All (Like Duelling, but with bots/batts allowed)
Rhino Racing
Rabbit Chase
Cannonball Run Racing (like the movie - start out docked somewhere, go somewhere else, first one there wins)

Also - Prizes - should they be just credits, or should they be a combination of Door Prizes, Credits, and such?
