Oh yeah and this is the interesting part I forgot to mention. Each team ( of 2 players) will place a bet on the battle, however much, depending on how confident they are, 50k, 500k, 5Mil, however much and after both teams place their bets they duel it out, the team coming out on team wins both bets, make sense? If yer still confused then speak with me personally. This as like the other event is getting more and more organized as I speak. ( this for the Last Team Standing Event the 12th.)

Man I'm to forgetful, one more thing, in this upcoming event, there will be more than just one team winning something but the teams which move up the tournament brackets win more. In other words everyone is a winner and a loser.

Yes it was a lot of fun. Cost me a lot of money as well dropping off 50 ripper mines into the massive swarm but the fireworks was well worth it. I got a screenshot of everyone gathered around Primus, the shear amount of fire power there is staggering.

Oh, and there is that pesky little drake that somehow managed to pull off a win.

As soon as I heard that the event was going to be a FFA, I knew I was done for.

I sorta have a reputation, and while it makes for more flavorful gameplay,l it makes you a popular target. I am happy to report that there are a number of participants who drew the ire of the crowds before me, including Pitt and Bitterman ( who didn't see that coming? ).

I actually thought the Drake wasa good idea when I was told it would be FFA, nice to see somebody make it work.

NEXT TIME THOUGH, we need a ladder-based dueling competition.

Hey all fellow Browclops fans,

I am so addicted to playing on Browclops that I can hardly drag myself away to check the forum. Needless to say, there is a lot of posts. So, it took a while to catch up.

I regret that I missed the FFA, due to stupid work. But, I got to pay my electric and internet in order to play haha. Congratulations to Meiyo_Chie for winning the Free For All!!!

Now I feel the need to let everyone know what [GOV is about. The [GOV is the Federal Government of the United Systems of Browclops. I have been spending a lot of time laying out the groundwork for the clan and Bitterman has been doing tons of recruiting.

The [GOV is a "Role Playing" clan that will be primarily modeled from the United States Government, since it fits so well with Freelancer. Each system is like a state and a server like a country. If we expand to other servers then we will have a United Servers, like the United Nations. LOL. But I only play on other servers when Browclops is down, so I might have to have a diplomatic official help set up inter-server governments.

The [GOV will probably have many of the Departments, Government Positions, and Procedures that the US has. Even an "Elected President" will be included. Every [GOV member is considered a Governor or congressman/women.

The [GOV will participate in role playing activities such as charging "VERY LIGHT" taxes, tolls, and tariffs on commodities being transported. Also, [GOV will be enforcing Federal Law, but more importantly, enforcing the server rules as much as we are able. We will also host events and place bounties.

I have created a rough draft of the Law's that I have proposed will be enforced by the [GOV. It is still a rough draft, so I cannot release it yet, but I will outline the primary laws.

Law 1: OBEY SERVER RULES
Law 2: NO MODDING/CHEATING (also covered in the server rules of Browclops)
Law 3: NO AFK !!!!!!!!!!!! (Away from keyboard)
A: for more than 30 minutes anywhere on the server, since it keeps the server full and fewer people get to play.
B: for more than 2 minutes on mission planets that have the (Too many players accessing the job board) bug.
Law 4: NO FOUL LANGUAGE on system chats.
Law 5: NO PK'ing (for role playing purposes only and not intended to be obeyed.)
Law 6: PLAYERS MUST PAY TAXES/TOLL/TARRIFS (role playing)

I want to discuss Law 3. AFK while camping the job board is the only thing that has really pissed me off since I have been playing Freelancer. It is very difficult to be nice to the guilty parties, but I know I will feel bad if I am mean to them. There are some misunderstandings about the JOB BOARD BUG. You do not have to be accessing the job board in order to make it so that no one else can access it. If you are docked, it messes it up. I have waited for 2 hours trying to get on the job board while (nameless) camped it AFK. I was quite pissed off. Now it happened again today, which is why I had to log off of Browclops. I wasn't having any fun and losing a couple million in opportunity cost. Everyone needs to be aware of the Job Board Bug. So spread the word to other players that do not read the forum.

On a more positive note, I love the Browclops server. I can't help recommending it to everyone that I meet when on other servers. I probably shouldn't though, since it is already hard to get on. LOL! But I want as many people to have fun as possible.

A message to that Big Goofy Unibrow Monkey on Primus, named Browclops!!!!!!! I never see you anymore. Get back online more often, before I have to go down to the unknown and drag you out of your poop slinging parties on Primus!!! You hear?

Whoa Reg, waz wondering what the hell GOV ment. Anyway from what it sounds like, seems yer trying to put the browclops server ( it's players) into a rping situaton which seems in my opinion to be the best move someone to make cause that would make things twice as interesting

How exactly do you plan to enforce this? Is Brow all of a sudden going to grant admin power to a bunch of GOV fanatics?

You can't do anything about people sitting AFK inside bases, or on the job boards. The worst you can do is kick the little tards around when they leave base.

Law 4: NO FOUL LANGUAGE on system chats.

Get bent. Brow loves the dirty 7. This is Bitterman's thing, let him enforce it with his GUNS if he wants to make a big deal.

You'll probably find that the usage of profanities in system chat is actually quite limited, and only goes up when you start bitching about it.

Law 5: NO PK'ing (for role playing purposes only and not intended to be obeyed.)

Ok. How many GOV members do I have to kill before I force you goodies over the line? Come on, random killing adds so much to the game.

Law 6: PLAYERS MUST PAY TAXES/TOLL/TARRIFS (role playing)

See above. You toll me, you die. In fact, if you implement any sort of the above bull****, I'm certain Admiral Thrawn and I will get together some criminal element to terrorize you.

And our battle cry will be...NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!
