Yea that's right, only 82 days with combined not even 24 hours offline, never any data loss (as in not a single account lost, ever) and nearly lag free. Ya know, I don't need this.

To anyone with half a brain: Almost total memory allocation to some unknown process, I've been investigating it for two hours now. Like an idiot I gave the new version of the anti-mod mod another chance, and it's been crap ever since. I don't know if it actually works or not, can't keep the program up long enough to get near an unknown system. - Browclops

The server is passworded for you to test it right? I dont mind it being passworded, do anything you need to to get the server stable again.

It cycled about 3 to 5 times in a row last night sometime between 1 and 2am, (of course I kept trying to connect since I'm an addict ), then it was stable until I left (about 2:30am), only about 10ppl on the server at that time though.

Don't worry about the Donut boy there (he can't even spell his own name right). He's missings his hole and his mom's working on Primus. Since you probably banned him he can't see his mommy between tricks anymore and that upset's him. Anyway we love your server and if there's anything I can do for you, let me know.

PS: Is it the 707th antimod thing that's giving you a problem?

Yah, I don't really know how much an anti-cheat mod is needed on your server Brow, most of the regulars on your server know you, and so if a cheater uses a mod, then I'd say about 80 to 90% of the time you are going to hear about it, mebbe even moreso if they use it to PK.

Acoording to Browclops server news, the 70th anticheat mod is actually a backdoor of some sort... It allowed someone to hack into the server. The thing has been disabled, but the server is still pretty unstable.

Falcon, the server news says "This server has been compromised (hacked, although the hack has been disabled) and will be rebuilt in a day or two". I make no inference on the anti-mod mod and any association with the server being hacked. Since the break-in occurred on June 23, I must retest the anti-mod mod in a sterile environment and decide anew whether or not to use it.

Well, it's pretty ugly folks Found the back door, the reg hacks, the data store and the custom FTP service. Yup, Browclops has been hacked, and was being used as an FTP site for some unscrupulous monkey wanna-be's. Serves me right for putting it outside the firewall to speed things up. I'll be rebuilding it in the next couple days, but right now everything appears ok for gameplay. I've disabled the access, deleted the data (except for the trail they left, they aren't the only ones who know how to break into a system) and fettered the ports, but I must rebuild it, or I'll never be certain that it is secure. This time I'll put the screws to it like I should have in the first place. No account data will be lost. I will repeat that, no account data will be lost. Total rebuild time should be about 4 hours, which I'll probably do Thursday afternoon, but I'll put it in the Server News and here long before I take it down.

awwwwww a sign of relief - Hacked huh? i can't stand Jealous bastards! - Trying to damage the image of the best server for Freelancer! - anything we can do let us know .
