Justinian, i merely began questioning at the request of an admin of another server. i did not mean to b pushy, merely stand up for a n00b. in ur case, that is why i said no prob, bc u were escorting. argonus was unaware of that fact. i was not acting of my own observations, and i apologize for the mistake. that does not change the fact that i would take argonus's word for just about anything. he has demonstrated himself to be entirely just and trustworthy in the workings of his server as well as his clan. u were reasonable as i learned, pls just chill, i was checking on it, as it is my job to do so, being a server police. brow, if u wanna know any more bout the incident, feel free to email me or Arg. lata guys.

I am thinking about giving up the Rheinaldn police thing for a bit, so I can train all of the new recruits I am getting. I dont have time to ppolice a sector and train my newer members how to fight other players. More on this later.

where to start - GOOD NEWS FIRST...

I have decided to try and host an event...much patience will be required, but I am going to do it. TIME: MIDNIGHT EST, FRIDAY 18 JUL 03...I liked someones suggestion of Capture the Flag, so that is to be the game. Interested? Great! EMAIL ME YOUR CHAR NAME, THE SHIP YOU FLY, your preference between ODD and EVEN. I don't know how many people are interested....but I need to find out. I am going to try and get Brow to restrict the server for us, but I need to justify it to him. ENTRY FEE: 50K to me per freelancer (To go into pot) plus MATCHING GRANT of 3 Million CREDS. I will, through random selection (as random as I can get) select on FLAG for each team. THE FLAG GETS A 30 SECOND HEAD START....PLUS....500K just for being the flag - win or lose. WINNING TEAM IS THE FIRST TO GET THEIR FLAG TO THEIR BASE AND BACK TO START POINT. Rules and such to be emailed to all players interested 24 hours prior to the event.

NOT SO GOOD NEWS...Brow - I talked with bits, and I understand where he was coming from. I even agreed to say so here, in the post. I did then, and didn't after we talked, and do again after his posts again have a problem with his attitude. I don't know about the email bouncing thing...wish I could help you. I did get it though.

Bits - If you are gonna be "SERVER POLICE" for Brow, you cannot take anyone's word until you have heard all sides of the story - no matter how well you know them. No it was nor o_0 that bounced me, it was LT EDGE...and then I witnessed ~NAME~ intereferring with transfers, bouncing n00bs, dock camping, just being a general pain. When I went Vigilante on him (aka SASHA) and blasted his Liberty LF...He logged off, and LT EDGE logged in screaming how I would pay...I get blasted, and you were nowhere to be found, nor did I know you existed. I figured it out for myself, had a stranger level me up (THANKS FREAKZILLA) and got revenge myself - AND IT KICKED MORE ASS THAN HAVING SOMEONE ELSE DO IT. To tell the truth, I help more people than I PK, and I personally don't get a kick out of it - excluding FFA and System Wars. I will duel occasaionally, I know who kix ass (SASHA...Damn he can fly) and I can hold my own (you and I) and there are people that must be having a string of bad days (no names mentioned now ) because I am not that good. My point then, and my point now is simple: If you are going to do a good job at doing what I think you have the potential of doing - YOU CANNOT COME OFF AS AN ASS WHEN YOU ARE DOING IT, YOU CANNOT TAKE ANYONE'S WORD OR INPUT UNTIL YOU TALK TO THE PARTIES INVOLVED, AND YOU CANNOT GO AROUND CLAIMING TO BE AN ADMIN OR TALKING TO AN INCOGNITO ADMIN THREATENING TO RESET ACCOUNTS. Dude, we are cool - I know it is not easy, nor is it a thankful job - I don't want it. But please - I am an adult here - don't tell me to just chill. Talk to me and we can work it out. To reiterate to all the people who were not directly involved - BITS DID HIS JOB IN A GOOD ENOUGH WAY - I would have done it differently. Cut him some slack.

We have heard from undisclosed sources, that the JRK pirates are planning an attack on California. The GOV will be defending California against this invasion and we encourage freelancers to help in the cause. The fighting will be in California System on Tuesday July 15th at 12:00 eastern time. We will be using the rules outlined by Twex in the USB thread.

Dame, this is how I got it to work.

Make a copy of your Freelancer shortcut. Right click on it, select properties.
In the Target section, put in: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -s208.159.100.22:2302

Or wherever your Freelancer is located. But put the \Freelancer.exe" -s208.159.100.22:2302

Then, when you launch Freelancer and go to multiplayer, internet, Browclops should pop up.

Also, per the efforts of two collaborative patriots, the first ever First Bank of Free California (FBFCA) has been established with an opening deposit of 3 MILLION CREDITS. The Purpose of the bank, besides as a discounted weapons emporium for all non clan aligned people is to defer the individual costs of conflict against the GOV by paying out grants to the combatants. If you wish to receive a GRANT, you must open an account and deposit regularly. The minimum account opening is 25K which will qualify you for the Grant of 100K per combat session logged. The location will be kept secret as we are sure that the Clan Pigdogs would attempt to rob it. We have two "members" with the bank.

Anyone may purchase weapons (that is - hardware, no ammo) from the bank - once it completes its stocking, just members will receive the discount of being able to buy at cost - instaed of the normal market price.

Piracy is only determined by who has the better armament.

ALSO - 2 TEAM CAPTURE THE FLAG, 2100 PST 18 JULY 03...If we get enough interest. This MAY be a SERVER PASSWORD PROTECTED EVENT. EMAIL [email protected] for the PASSWORD. Entry Fee is 50K per person.
