Anyway, I have added a Browclops Games section to my forums. If you havent signed up, It might be a good idea to do so. If you have a game that you want to put up, post it there. That goes for battles and other contests too. Browclops, as well as myself are the moderators of that section. I am doing this, because this thread is getting too cluttered and too confusing. It would be better if we could have new topics for new discussions.

Today is the last day to register for the Team Capture the Flag. If I don't have any emails (shout out to those who did sign up) it just won't happen. Sorry about that part to those who did sign up. The Pot to the winners keeps increasing, mainly due to a HUGE gift from DocFuglyMark, who donated 1 million credits. I also completed another circuit of the stations I visits and can now PROUDLY offer a 500K reward to the Flags, and a 6 Million credit bonus to be split amongst the winning team. Think about it - That's 400,000 just for escorting a flag and hunting down another flag. - more if less people sign up. The minimum I need to make this happen is 20 people. If just 20 sign up, the winners get 600,000 credit per person.

In reaction to Browclops server shutting down on August 1, 2003, lets take action to stay together.
Here are some of the things we can do.

1. Let's ask Browclops for our character files.
2. Lets do some server hunting. We need to find a new home.
3. Find another server that we like, that will hopefully install our files.
4. Let's get as many of us to agree on a new server, so we can stay together.

What do you guys think? I say we stick together and bring the Browclops culture to another server. Please add suggestions.

What is this about the server shutting down? When did this come up?

It was announced about 50 minutes ago on a seperate thread. Do a search for all threads by the User Browclops to find the thread. It is scheduled to shut down on August 1, 2003.

I think we should all chip in to buy him a new server maching, so he can keep hosting our games. Brow is the best.

this is terrible news...............dont know what caused it, but i think we should enjoy whats left and see if we can do our part on here to keep brows playing env. intact. i for one would like to see brow as an admin of a server for us in the future, if at all possible. neway, see u in space.

Server will reset today at 2330 est 18 JUL 03 and become passworded to accomodate the Capture the Flag game to be played. All registered participants have been emailed with the details.

If you want to play, email [email protected]. The purpose is so I can assign you to a team before the mayhem begins, to keep the start time as close to 0000 est 19 JUL 03 as possible. When you email, please subject line "BROWCLOPS CTF" and put your Char Nic and ship in the body of the email.

Flags have been selected and will be receiving 500K each, and the winning team will split a pot worth 10 million credits. Thanks out to Matterthief and DocFuglyMark for their generous contributions.

I will plan on hosting another game like this prior to shut down, pot to be determined based on how many loops of my trade route I can get in. With the potential of being able to transfer your character to a new server, it may not be pointless...imo.

Also - I may be found on Argonia or twexel after brow shuts down, but not before.
