No Glock, putting insignia's would mean some small editting of the models and the ships don't need unique identifiers until they go into the new mod. After all, each side needs its own banner. Perhaps a house insignia followed by the ships own ship type insignia.

Well... I'm glad I got rid of the motorcycle look. I'm actually quite pleased now... I need to add a few more shapes and detail to the model.

Sorry to intrude on your thread again (sounds like great stuff by the way), but how do i get the mod i am making to say v1. whatever i want (a la TNG v.159 etc?) so that when I get this mod i am making off the ground you can't connect if you don't have my mod? Any help or points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!

To change the version, you must have an editor that will edit the exe files. I tried it and could not get it to work but I know that's where you start

Leonhart, the insignia is not quite what i had in mind. If your interested, email me and i'll show you a design i settled on. That type of pic you have would suit the darkworld ships though.

Not very fast. Quite a bit must be finished first before even a beta can be completed. We're concentrating on finishing the ships first. Glock is helping by assembling the test system where they will show up. If we like it, it will be upgraded to a full scale system.

@Wanderer, I used that same technique, UVW Unwrapping, in the Ghost and you Don't have any problems. Did you Flip it Upside Down before converting it to MAT format.

Working hard to earn... but too lazy to do something...

Tried the flipping. Didn't work. I'll go with the other method then. I'll create "plates" which should have the insignia and stick them on the ship.

Firebase, you should already have the files for the Phantom. The only thing i forgot to tell you was to place this line in the market ships ini file:
marketgood = phantom_package, 0, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1

Oh yes, the mat file is problematic but Glock is testing the new version now. I'll send it to you if he confirms that it works.
