YES! YES! oh GOD YES!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

i torrented a cracked ver. of Bioshock, no copy protection in sight

all i had to do was unzip the archive to the HDD and run the binaries.

Yes, we're all very impressed that you were able to download a torrent. *Rolls eyes and shakes head*

I had to do that with Tiberium Wars, even though I had the legit version - it just wouldn't run even though I got rid of Daemon Tools, PowerIso, Nero Ultra and AnyDVD. After a wekk of getting nothing but stupidity off morons at EA support I told them to stuff it, I wasn't fooking about anymore, and that I'd had to use a cracked .exe to be able to play the thing.

I was not very impressed.

you're missing my point Esq. the point isn't that i torrented it (not hard in itself) but the fact that within a couple of days of release there was a cracked version which required no further downloads of vitual drives and mini images shows just how pointless the copy protection on Bioshock IS.

they've created an incredible hassle for the loyal and poor sods who've purchased the game, yet someone who doesn't want to parchase it actually has LESS hassle than someone who did. its stupid.

I didn't miss your point, I was simply expressing disapproval over your obvious love of piracy. Do what everyone else does and be subtle, boy!

Personally I hope companies that use anti customers Copy protection go bankrupt. While companies like Stardock and Paradox gain as they use costumer friendly copy protection. This is just my opinion. If I knew how to pirate companies that use Starforce, Valve, and any copy protection this beyond an easy to use type such as the companies listed above. I would try my best to bankrupt them for treating others and me as criminals.

As Aod2, all software will get cracked so why do they kill the buyer with such crap. I will not buy a game that has an anti-customer copy protection and all PC owners need to boycott such games and there publishers until they change or go bankrupt.
