iv got darkstar 1 but theres no multyplayer on it is it me cus i got it to play on web to find i carnt

its single player only at this time, though there was talk of doing a mutiplayer add on/version

Well if they allow it to be modded I am sure someone will make a mod so it can be played online.

Dont know if it is even possible to make a mod to allow online play never seen it happen.

The question of the MP would be if they released it would we be able to run it on our servers?

Or will it be pay to play just like Eve?

Gentlemen there is a gap in the market I suggest you fill it, beside if the MP is good then you may well nick some players back off Eve.

Doubtful I know game developer make too much money from pay to play to ever go back. See Articule in London FT circa November 2006 discussing the matter.

well ascaron didnt add a mp yet... and very likely they are not interested in it
even if they would do they wouldnt sell more copies of the game... on economical view (sry the business man is coming through again) it wouldnt be good

but there are rumours about a DSO2 and if they would go for mp there the numbers of sold copies would be higher
the only question is if the rumours are true or not

hey guyz .. me just bought DSO DVD .. and installed it ..!! but the game is crashing ..!! back to desktop after the loading screen ..

1. check their requirments against what your computer has.
2. check and make sure your drivers are up to date.
Also check your graphic settings as well.

I have installed Darkstar One and patch 1.3. The introduction videos play put then it stops and says there is an error. I sent the information to the developers but was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a HP TX1120 laptop. Vista,2 meg, nivida graphics card.

Vista has problems runing some games at times. Have you run it on a computer with XP?

No I have not. Yes I have but the graphics card is not good enough to run it and it is an older computer.
