I have no oxygen and water to spare. Furthermore, I do not have trains nor do I have freighters. None. You, on the other hand, have credits, and credits do not require freighters to transfer them.

This act of giving oxygen and water to DSE is irrelevant. You claimed to be different from the other CEOs and responded to my challenge. You say that I am the scum of the universe, and I will respond to that challenge. In time.

Several lower officers...course you do. Just so you know, your private butler and servants don't count.

Unless of course you meant it another way, in which I have to say who am I to stand in the way of your private relations? but it doesn't count as sharing your quarters. I also share my bedroom with other Hessian members...but at least it's consensual!

to Triyun:

Who said I wasn't? I actually am sleeping in the formerly luxurious apartments of the former CEO of ageira. But then, so are 50 other people. I converted them into normal quarters so that everyone on the station might have a bit more room to go around, and well, it worked. And make sure you keep the red hessians in line, for all of sirus. I would hate to have to break off relations with you because they backstabbed me or my allies. be wary of them, for they are dangerous.

Commander Wilde, CEO Richardson, STOP WITH THE BICKERING!!!

In EVERY POST, you bicker. Commander Wilde, I do not care if you can't send me oxygen or water. I can get it in other ways. CEO Richardson, do't anger the Hessians. They are part of the Pirates Guild and have the Outcasts and Corsairs with them. They could destroy you in a second if they wanted to. So STOP BICKERING. PLEASE!!!

Guys, I will post my first two truns. I computer problems and reletives coming down from alaska. I'll probably post tommorow

Most people fear the unknown.
Most people haven't met me.

It amazes me--the Corsairs have long been a larger "Pirating" faction than ours and certainly (no offence meant Triyun) more blood rests in their hands. Why then do you excuse them but not me? If I am scum, we are scum together. If they are forgivable, we are forgivable together.

Thanks for that outburst Captain Kill. I needed that. ok, I'm shutting up now about this thing with richardson.

@ gunblader: TLR was down yesterday and as far as we know turn 1 is going to continue until VD gets a calculator ready.

Hessians propose a peace agreement with Liberty.

To wilde:

because unlike you they acted out of NEED, not greed. I won't bother arguing with you again, you are too low for me. (I was fulfilling my character's role there, but if you insist.) Oh, and you really are low, ya know that?

Post Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:43 pm

Chesslavakia I realize that I have 3 bases. I have known that for ages. Oh and by the way, I CAN SPELL TOO!!! Do not attack me. OR ELSE.

Post Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:44 pm

To Red Hessians and Corsairs,
We would be honored to be in this league, and about sharing locations of all bases, would we be collecting income from EVERY base?

Captain said stop bickering, so I will stop. If you cannot see the obvious contradiction in your words, I won't point it out. Just shut up about it and sign the damn peace treaty.

To the Bundschuh: commodities and income would necessarily be shared by all of us if Triyun agrees to it--in which case we will become 1 unified faction made up of 3 subgroups, 4 if the Outcasts agree to join us.

Message to the Outcasts: We will make a solemn oath if you join the League: no Hessian will attack a House unless directly threatened or attacked beforehand. We will not hijack any commodity shipments passing through our systems.

Samura Heavy Industries, I request an Alliance. If we work together, we have a larger chance of survival. Also, If possible, could you send me a shipment of Oxygen and Water? I am in extreme need of them.

Post Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:49 pm

To Herr Von Stellner of the Bundschuh:

I see that you have elected to ally yourself with the Hessians. Despite what you may have heard, I am not an unreasonable man. In fact, I do not hold this act against you in any way. Your current situation is a difficult one, of that there is no doubt. You currently have but one base and your financial situation is highly unattractive. Your income is a low 35 credits per turn and you have no access to some of the basic materials necessary for you to survive and thrive. Clearly you need an ally. I maintain that the Hessians are not the ally you want, however.

If you truly wish to change the funamental nature of Rheinland's society why not do it from the inside? Join me and take control of one of our great corporations. As Chancellor I can install whomsoever I please into the position of CEO, should the situation require it. Instead of working to destroy the foundations of our great society, help me re-make it. Help me fix the problems that my predecessors caused. All of Rheinland will be ever grateful.

The benefits to you are quite palpable as well. Should you elect to take control of Daumann, our largest corporation you will have a total of 6 bases (one of which is a shipyard) and one planet under your control. You will retain control - and, if you wish, secrecy - of your fabled home, Bruchsal. In addition you will have a presence in Dresden, New Berlin, Omega-3, Omega-7 and Omega-11. Your revised income would be 130 Credits per turn and you will recieve 30 Metal, 6 Water, 16 Oxygen, 1 Food and 1 H-Fuel per turn.* This is clearly a better deal for you. As extra incentive I will also offer you a one-time gift of 90 Credits as a gesture of my goodwill.

What have the Hessians offered you other than empty promises, rhetoric and vitriol?

*Note - My income calculations are based on these assumptions:
1. That St110 will keep Bruchsal in addition to getting the new bases
2. That The Ring is a shipyard (which, according to its infocard, it is)
3. That Leipzig Station in Dresden is a Large Station
4. That all other stations are Small Stations.

I have e-mailed Jacob about the legailty of my proposition and hopefully we will have a ruling soon.

Post Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:59 pm

we have offered them a change in politics and a home among their fellow rebels towards a greedy dictatorship. What have you offered them but the kind of bribe Rhineland has become so infamous for? The Bundschuh will not be so easily fooled as to accept this bribe.

Let me tell you what I see in my mind's eye....a transformed Rhineland, like one the Bundschuh and I hope to build. One in which all people are equal, where happiness can once again shine in the snowy fields of New Berlin. Where corporations no longer oppress their workers, where the Chancellors do not use bribes to rid themselves of their enemies. If the Bundschuh can build this Rhineland controlling Daumann, we will become a legal, non-revolutionary faction and work to serve the new Rhineland.

But that is an if. I would suggest to the Bundschuh not to take this bribe. it is yet another attempt by Rhineland to avoid the enemies she has won herself.

LeipZig is a small station, not large.

To the Chancellor of Rheinland,
*Blech!!* I would rather have my body rot in the nebulae of Dresden then become a gear in a new Rheinland war machine! I am sure that you can understand that we have a much more powerful ally then you could ever be! I would never be the ally of the next tyrant of Sirius. The sole purpose we are a Revoultanary is because of the actions of the past which can not be changed,i am sorry but an alliance is impossible.

I do not know how many more times I will have to say this:

I AM NOT THE CHANCELLORS OF OLD!

I was appointed by President Jacobi after the Nomad Incident precisely because she thought I would be the best person to rebuild Rheinland. I have none of the old party connections. I do not believe in "bribing" or playing petty politics. I want what is best for Rheinland. As it stands now the Corporations need new leadership. The old leaders have grown fat and complacent. When the previous government was infested they sat on their hands and did nothing while society crumbled. They gladly churned out weapons and sold them to our military at exorbitant prices. They must be replaced, this much is true. But why must this replacement come through violence? Would it not be better for all if such a change happened without any death or destruction? I do not wish to fight my own kinsmen but I will make the sacrifices that are necessary for the greater glory of Rheinland.

Herr Von Stelner:

A more powerful ally? The Hessians? How do you figure that? They have 50 wings of Light Fighters and three Bases. I, on the other hand, have 100 wings of Light Fighters, 10 Heavy Fighters and a Battleship. I also control three planets, six Small Stations, one Large Station and a Capital Shipyard. You would control much the same if you were to ally yourself with me.

Nevertheless, if your decision is final I will no longer press the issue. I have offered you an historic opportunity. When the historians of the future look back on these days I hope that you are not painted as the instrument of Rheinland's ultimate demise.

(OOC: Why does everybody hate me so?
And at least one of Daumann's bases has to be a large one. Leipzig makes the most sense, given its infocard.)
