jakob, before I start to judge I need you to send me an e-mail on how to do the battles. I have already judged on GB's RPG but that was 2.0 and he gave me the wrong rules for judging battles (just ask Triyun lol).

And if anyone could become a second judge it would really help. I may not be able to go very quickly with about 20 people playing and me being the only judge.

OOC: I think Connaruis said he left. And also I'm assuming that criminal factions know the location of hidden bases it is just the houses that don't. Because I've encountered Corsairs around Freeport 5 in the game before.

Building: 2 Large Bases, 3 VHF Wings, 1 HF Wing

Base List:
Planet Crete
Tripoli Shipyards
Leon Base
Cadiz Base

Ships:
10 VHF Wings
40 LF Wings

Moving: 15 LF Wings from Omicron Gamma to Omega 41.
Moving: 10 VHF Wings 5 LF wings from Omicron Gamma to Omicron Theta

Attacking:

25 LF Wings attacking Freeport 5 in Omega 41 to capture
10 VHF Wings, 5 LF wings attacking Freeport 9 and to gain control of Omicron Theta to capture

Transmission to Bretonia: I am Elder Triyun Kun, commander of the Pirate League, we will offer you a deal. We form an alliance and joint control of Omega 7. The Pirate League will add an extra layer of protection between the Bretonians and the Rheinlanders.

Fighter Stats:
VHF: 8 CA/ 8 FA/ 5 CD/ 5 FD
HF: 5 CA/ 5 FA/ 3 CD/ 3 FD
LF: 2 CA/ 4 FA/ 4 CD/ 2 FD

@ Codename: That exploration of 20 LFs would cost you...lesse... 2000 credits, 100 per wing of LFs. You can't really pull that out of a hat.

Furthermore, Oder Shipyard I believe is a fighter shipyard.

Now, back to character-ness

Message Codename, Chancellor of Rhineland from Orion Van Haalein:

You fool. The Bundschuh will never listen to your sorry pleas for forgiveness. They, like all the other revolutionary factions of Rhineland (there are quite a large amount, aren't there? One must wonder why...) have suffered at the blatant corruption and disgustingly capitalist, authoritarian movements on the part of every Chancellor your state has seen since Emperor Pausbeck. You will pay for your crimes in blood. Each leader that has here been elected we have hoped would put an end to the mistakes of the past by reprimanding Rhineland's inhumane corporations, but none have responded to our pleas. Now suffer the wrath of those you have pained!

Furthermore, we too wish what is best for this state. You, good Chancellor, and all your predecessors have robbed the comman citizen of Rhineland of every ounce of dignity they possess, condemning them to lives of poverty, sickness, or crime. We wish to end that. So do the Bundschuh. So do the Unioners. So do the farmers of LWB. If you also wish that, you will seize all Republican, Daumann, and Kruger bases in every Rhineland controlled system. If you do not wish to see your people restored to happiness and your state restored to prosperity, then continue working for yourself and the other 7 or 8 pathetic, obese, upper class slobs that make up Rhineland's current elite.

To Herr van Haalein:

My crimes? Those I have pained? You are the foolish one my young friend. When I inherited the Chancellery Rheinland was on the brink of ruin. The incessant attacks of your faction coupled with the Nomad infestation of the highest levels of our military and government left us bankrupt and weak. I have spent the time from when I was appointed Chancellor rebuilding our once proud nation. All the while you and your Hessian cronies have been nothing but a thorn in our side. You say that you speak for the people, but in reality you speak only for yourself. What have you done to help the citizens of Rhienland? Nothing. You hide in your asteroids and attack the honest, hard working citizens of this nation, all the while spouting revolutionary claptrap. I thought I would kill you. Now I see that even death is too lenient a punishment. You must suffer as you have made the families of those you have murdered suffer.

Check the CYOF site.

It costs 50 credits to send out any exploration wing of any sort (my bad, I thought it was 100). To send out 20 LF wings would therefore cost 1000 credits.

@ Triyun: While my forces are engaged in battle, could you please cover my rear and move fighters into Dresden?

How have I murdered the families of those people? I speak out in support of them. You are blind, old man. Blinded with rage, blinded with the love of money and prosperity. My faction has never attacked one civilian, nor any civilian ship. In the past two centuries in which we have been an active faction of bonded revolutionaries, all we have attacked are corporations' fighters, transports, and bases--but even then, it is our policy and has been since the creation of the faction to allow the low-paid pilots of those companies time to bail out. On every base we have taken we have allowed for all but the rich executives who are the scourge of Rhineland to go free and do whatever they wish. No, we have never torn apart any family, caused pain or death or suffering or destruction or poverty to any citizen of the Sirius sector. You have.

You know there is no rush. We can hash out all the diplomacy now if we want but I would suggest waitng until we get a working calc. before we actually post any official turns.

To the " criminal alliance": while we would like to establish better relations with the corsairs we will not ally with anyone who continues criminal actions. If your alliance pledges to change their ways count us in. Otherwise we will keep our distance.

I am keeping the starting ship rules the same as before.

@ Codename: I believe we need to bring this matter to jacob, but it makes no sense for you not to have to pay to explore for hidden bases.

@ VD: That's Pirate's League . And the Red Council has stated that it will stop behaving in such manners as the Outcasts suggest on the sole conditions that Rhineland cut off the assets of Kruger Minerals, Daumann Heavy Industries, and Republican Shipping and allow Bundschuh and Hessians to build anywhere in Rhineland space.

Post Mon Dec 20, 2004 1:34 pm

The exploration for NEW systems is 50 credits.
The exploration for HIDDEN bases is 0 credits, you just have to have a force that you send.
Also, the Corsairs and Outcasts can form together to make a house...

Damn. BUGGAH.

I really think there should be a price on that tho--even something as small as 25 credits. Otherwise, what's to stop Houses from sending colossal armies to look for bases? Nothing.

*Our Allies, the Corsairs, gain knowledge of all Hessian bases in return for the knowledge of their bases*

OOC: Umm Wilde sorry to intervene on this matter and this does not reflect the Rouges opinion but you said that the Hessians have never attacked a civilian or a civilian ship. But in their description in FL it says that they often attack commercial, military and CIVILIAN targets. Like I said before, this does not reflect my views IC. In fact, the Rouges may be interested in becoming a type of sub-member in the Pirates League. I will need to consult with my current allies first.

You have to win the battle to find the base--unless your number is a 1. Triyun, please move fighters to help me protect Vogtland while I'm in battle. on 15 wings or so pleeease?

@ roc: I think you're mistaking the Hessian's description for the Corsairs. It says we are a group of unemployed miners who vow to change the face of Rhineland government. The idea that we would ever attack a civilian target...that is a cruel conspiracy spread by the former Rhineland corporations and government. I say the truth when I tell you this: no Hessian has ever killed a civilian target.

@ Codename: there's nothing special about my email. It's [email protected], easily accessible over the site. Just don't send me any viruses or anything weird.

Well I can understand that if in this RP you want to say that they have never attacked a civilian and that is just lies pressed by Rhineland, but I do have the description right. I actually do think it is a good idea to say that you never killed or attacked a civilian. In my opinion the coolest factions are the rebels fighting for a better life and not just for money and gain (like the Blood Dragons, Gaians, Bundschuh, ect.). I know of a site that tells you the descriptions of all the factions. I will edit this post and include a link to the site in a sec.

No don't bother, I checked the game myself and the description is right.

seeing as the website's back up (finally!) I'm going to post my fleet movements for today...

1. 5 LF wings attacking Freistadt to go directly to Vogtland. 10 wings of the attack force on Freeport 1 to proceed to Vogtland as well. 5 wings of the attack force to go to Freital.

To clear this up, here is the word-for-word description of the Red Hessians...

Red Hessians

ALLIES:
LWB

ENEMIES:
Corsairs, Daumann, Kruger, Rheinland Police, Rheinland Military, Bretonia Armed Forces, Bounty Hunters, Outcasts, House Shippers

The Red Hessians are a criminal group composed largely of unemployed miners operating out of Rheinland space who attack civilian and commercial targets of opportunity.
