It's not a question of whose offer is better really. The fact is that TC has three choices, two of which keep him away from the Hessians. (What are they? 1. Build in Sigma 13 with approval of the Hessians - obviously this is the one I *don't* like. 2. Share Helgoland station with me. Or 3. Don't do anything in Sigma-13 in the first place.) If he chooses the one option that puts him in line with the Hessians what am I supposed to think? And besides, the Hessian presence is hardly overwhelming. If I were to move all of my capships and a ten or so wings each of HFs and LFs I'd be able to give them a pretty decent battle. As it stands there are no guarantees that the Hessians will even be able to take Helgoland out. My HFs have an FD rating of 8, remember that.
@ Codename: You have to consider what you spent in giving your HFs fighter defences of 8. Considering that Houses are alotted 12 points per HF and you used your two free points on your LFs, every other category must have had anywhere between two and 1. Therefore, your attack has to be low in every case. which means your fleet may longer than it otherwise would, but in the end it all comes down to this: you would not be able to attack me and do any damage whatsoever.
Consider this: If I moved my entire force into Sigma 13, I would surely best yours. You have not had sufficient time to build up enough capital ships to successfully atack me.

AC, let me handle stat things, he has a reason for having huge defense. If you can figure out the strategy you and specify your defense in any combat with him, I'll take that into account with judging. If not to bad. As judge I'm forbidden to get into specifics.

I don't even know why this has become such a big deal. Interspace allies with the Hessians and I evict them from any system under my control. It is neither complicated nor unfair. I couldn't be arsed about their other bases, as long as they are out of my way. Similarly I don't really care what anybody else does as long as it isn't potentially threatening to me.
I would like to thank the Heads of DSE and Ageira for their support at this time. I would also like to assure them that any actions taken by Interspace Commerce will not be held against the other members of the Corporate Alliance. I know that you cannot force your partner to do anything and would not expect that of you. Furthermore I do not expect any help from you in the coming conflict. You have done enough as it is and will undoubtedly have your own troubles. Should you decide that you can spare some fighters or even raw material, however, I will not refuse.
I'd like to remind the corporate alliance as well, tribute paid to the Corsairs also ensures their continued safety in trade lanes plus you'll need to cooperate with us if you want to have any chance of passing through the Sigmas or Omega 7 without incident. 10 credits per turn from Ageira and DSE will ensure our cooperation and even protection from other pirate groups outside of Liberty space.

OOC: Yes that was the arrangement with the League, unfortunately the Corsairs have now decided to act much more hostile against corporations in there space, basically I'll attack any non-rheinland or bretonia state-owned assets in this region of space. If you turn over control to Rheinland or the Hessians I probably will not harass you around here.
