@ Chess - Not anymore, no. You seem to be offline from where I am.

@ Wilde - Even if I bought that the Hessians weren't murderers - which I don't - that still leaves the fact that two of the three main factions in the league are murderers. The description is no inaccurate and, by joining them, you have demonstrated that their methods are acceptable to you. Besides, the work "pirate" is just a romanticised synonym for murderer.

Is anyone out their willing to trade H-Fuel and metals?

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 1:00 pm

Try the IMG.

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 1:00 pm

heh no one's got none.

@ Codename: Outcasts are actually not in the League. VD's still deciding, I believe.

@ Pirate's League members: Our name is misleading, then. Shall we change it? the league of power, Freedom League...Also, could both of you check your emails? There's something I need to talk to you about.

DSE Turn 2

1 Large Station w 10 LF Wings
1 Capital Ship Shipyard w 10 LF Wings
1 Planet w 19 LF Wings

Income: Turn Bonus: 35 creds
Base Income: 50 creds
Commodities (Forgot to list them last turn) M 12/H-F 4/W 0/F 8/O 0

1. I move 4 light fighter wings into Texas.

2. Nothing to build.

3. ==MESSAGE TO LIBERTY==
I request an alliance. I see that you have already offered that to my ally Ageira. If you agree, could you send us a small shipment of oxygen and water as we are haing chronic shortages of those commodities.

==MESSAGE TO RED HESSIANS==
Commander Van Haalein, I find your motives to be inaccurate. You say that you want Republican, Kruger and Daumann declared illegal and broken up. I offered to take those bases and pay half of the credits made from these bases to Rheinland and the Hessians (1/4 each). You agreed, and then you decided that a war would be better. You do not want to stop cruelty to innocent Rheinlanders. You want to DESTROY Rheinland. If you go to war with Rheinland then you will be condemning thousands, if not MILLIONS of innocent Rheinlanders to DEATH. I find those actions CONTEMPTIBLE. I hereby withdraw the non-aggression pact from the Red Hessians.

==MESSAGE TO THE PIRATES GUILD (EXCLUDING HESSIANS)==
I have withdrawn the non-aggression pact from the Red Hessians but I have no intentions of withdrawing them from the Outcasts and Corsairs. I apologize if it sounded that way.

==MESSAGE TO THE HOGOSHA==
Hogosha, I request a shipment of 10 oxygen to Planet Pittsburgh. In exchange, I will give you 6 metals and 4 H-Fuel. Please accept or decline ASAP.

4. No attacks.

5. I collect (Turn Bonus 35 creds, base income 50 creds + 240 creds from last turn, commodity income 6 M, 2 H-F, 0 W, 4 F, 0 O. Total Commodities: 12 M, 4 H-Fuel, 0 W, 8 F, 0 O. Total Credits: 325 creds.

Damn. sheizer!

The Rhinelanders fighting me have a choice not to fight me. They choose to oppose what I work to create. I do not wish to kill them, I wish to free them from the oppresive Rhineland government. If they should threaten me or attack me, I will respond in force.

The reason I originally withdrew the offer is because Rhineland refused to sign it, thus rendering my support of it worth nothing. I later explained my actions and views on it.

Ok, sorry I haven't gotten any results up yet but I haven't been around until around now today and I had to read through 2 to 3 pages of Wilde and Codename arguing. Speaking of that, please make sure that all hostilities are IC. I know the Wilde and Codename thing is all IC, and that is fine. But Wilde and Richardson went form IC hostility to OOC hate. Remember, IT'S JUST A GAME!

Now, onto buisness.

To Red Hessians:
I must decline your offer. The Chancellor of Rhineland seems an honest man, true to his word and concerned to the welfare of his people. Unlike before, the Rouges are no longer only concerned about making a quick buck. The exist now for revenge and to free the people from the clutches of Liberty's corrupted government. So we must decline your offer.

To Hogosha:
I have a freighter I could send you. However, you have decided to ally yourself with the Red Hessians and the Pirate League. If you trade with them, it will help them and we are completely against there motives. When you have given them what they want, they will destroy you. I beg you to break free of them and ally yourselves with us. We will supply you with a freighter for trading with us and other freindly factions, and we will try to supply you with enough for another base. Please consider our offer.

Apocalypse, Rouges Supreme Commander

Hogosha is not allied with us. They are merely friendly.

@ roc: Who DOESN'T hate richardson? (jks). No, but seriously...I just commented IC about something he said and he took offence.

@ captain kill: here you go, here's what I said about it. I assure you, I do not want a war where I will be killing my own countrymen, I only desire an end to corruption and cruelty.

I did not change my mind. I told the Bundschuh not to accept your offer because the proposal was a vain bribe attempt on your part to rid you of an enemy and then use that new ally to hunt me down. I was originally fine with the DSE proposal because it is an offer put forth by that corporation in order to end the fighting between us. They treat their workers fairly, and would manage the bases far better than Daumann or Kruger.

Commander Van Haalein, Rheinland DID agree with my proposal. The Chancellor E-mailed me and agreed and then said that he thought YOU wouldn't agree, which is exactly what you said. There is still a chance to stop an all out war. What you and the Chancellor need to do is have a talk about this issue, not an insult contest. If you do this, then maybe the Red Hessians-Bundschuh vs Rheinland conflict can come to an end WITHOUT a war.

From Captain Kill2, Commander of DSE Armed Forces, President of DSE Mining Operations.

P.S. I also do not want a war because if there is one, I shall dispatch some wings of my Light Fighters to assist the Chancellor.

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 1:58 pm

Very well. Then we both accept it?

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 1:59 pm

I'll e-mail Chancellor Codename and see if he agrees. I think he will though.

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 2:03 pm

I have sent the E-Mail and hopefully there will be a reply soon.

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 2:05 pm

If this agreement works out, can we remake the non-aggression pact? I don't really want to have to worry about Red Hessian attacks.

Post Wed Dec 22, 2004 2:14 pm

From the looks of things, I think Chancellor Codename has accepted. But I'll let him say that for himself.

NEWSFLASH

In an unprecedented move Chancellor Codename of Rheinland and Paul Kloppenborg, Leader of the Xenos have agreed to work together. This agreement came about after an intense bargaining session prompted by the Chancellor's offer of employment for the Xenos. It has been agreed by all parties that Mr. Kloppenberg will become CEO of Daumann Heavy Construction in addition to retaining his command of the Xenos. Since the Rheinland economy was devastated there has been a mass emigration from Rheinland but its infrastucture should prove more than capable of accepting the new workers. The former CEO of Daumann, Hans Lindemann, has agreed to retire in the interests of peace in Sirius.

When asked what prompted him to make this historic decision Mr. Kloppenborg replied, "He has given Liberty's Working Class work again."

For his part, the Rheinland Chancellor was simply extatic that he had a steadfast ally. "It is wonderful to know that there are still reasonable leaders out there. Mr. Kloppenborg has restored my faith in the greatness of humanity as a whole."

While some of the details of the switchover have yet to be finalised, it is generally expected that the change will be a smooth one.
