Yup. I'm very vulnerable now (thanks to gunblader giving Wutai to Triyun). My only consolation is that Bretonia and Liberty will attack people who attack me, so I might stand a chance of surviving until I have a strong military again.

Post Sat Dec 04, 2004 1:27 pm

I just posted chapter 1 of my fanfic "Freelancer Revelations" I never made one of these before so let me know what you think.

Deathspike, the Corsairs don't own Gamma, I do.

Triyun, now I see. It's just because everyone who quit recently turned over their bases and stuff to you. Still kinda cheap, but nothing's against it.

VD, I'll take you up on the free water and food deal. Send as much as you like my way.

Roc

Kusari, could you also send me some food and water? Any amount is fine.

Post Sat Dec 04, 2004 2:56 pm

@ Jacob: My exploration and research results will be up soon, right?

Post Sat Dec 04, 2004 3:32 pm

If I hadn't quit before I'd be in possesion of Samura industries anyways. And three houses attacking an upstart house that was a pirate faction was cheap as well.

VD, I encourage you not to attack right now as I'm trying to retrieve the Hispania no thanks to Jacob through peaceful means and this isn't helping.

Deathspike, Sigma 13 is mine so I can strike Rheinland a lot harder from there also through Wutai. But I am holding back an all out war for now.

Again all powers we urge you to enter into the economic/ arms reduction pact we proposed (OOC a few pages back)

If Wilde moves into any Kusari System however, thats violating the peacekeeper mandate that Liberty and Bretonia declared, and that means war with Hispania.

Looking at the map, the only way into Tohoku is through Chugoku space, which I won't grant and Hokkaido space which is Kusari. You have no way to move in there Wilde, your attack there is invalid.

Actually Triyun, according to the Nav Map on this site, there are Jump Holes to Tohoku in Omicron Theta and Omicron Alpha. I don't remember these in the game though, so maybe it's a glitch.

Post Sat Dec 04, 2004 3:45 pm

Huh? What peacekeeper mandate? I have never had a peacekeeper mandate.

Roc if you look very carefully at those lines they are slightly off, you can see part of the blue line going past Tohoku to other systems behind it.

WW2 Jacob, the way Sisko said it, Rheinland was a protectorate because you disarmed them and wanted to keep them from being aggressors. Thats the general definition of a peace keeping mandate. We'd stay out of Rheinland and let you guys handle them as long as they don't attack us.

Jacob you missed my research.

Ooh, oops. The line goes from Omicron Alpha down to Theta, not to Tohoku. Sorry about that.

Technically, Tohoku is not Kusari space. There are no Kusari fighters stationed there, no bases at all, and it provides no commodities whatsoever. Therefore what I was doing wasn't an invasion (I stated that I was NOT attacking Kusari), it was merely making practical use of an unused system. If VD wanted the system I would let him have it. As it turns out the line on the TLR nav map looks like it goes to Tohoku from Alpha, but actually in fact goes to Theta. So all forces I had are still in Omicron Alpha, guarding Darkhundt Shipyard.

Now, that my research from last turn's all settled, here's my research for THIS turn:
LF CA x2
LF CD x3

plus I still have 4 exploration parties.

For once (gasp) Wilde is right. Tokuhu or what ever it is is not a part of Kusari space although it is close enough to warrant a response if enemy forces showed up there. Strange though, I explored Kusari pretty well in both SP and MP and I never ran across that system.

Post Sat Dec 04, 2004 5:54 pm

Its the system that you attack with the help of the blood dragons and you first see a nomad.

That was actually a really freakin annoying level
