Captured Pt. 4: Meeting Old Friends

The door closed right behind us and King was still on the other side. Juni was banging on the door when we heard King yelling at the Dom Kavish. Then scilence,"Juni! look out" i scermed as i jumped on her and bringing her down to the floor. Then blue lasers blasted through the door, we heard King screming and a thud on the ground, King was dead. "NOOOOOOOOO!" Juni yelled as i grabed her and we ran to the landing pad. Then we remembered that our ships were distroyed as we reached the landing pad. But luckly there was a Nomad interseptor with its doors opened for mantinece. We shot the workers and climbed aboard. we locked the doors and started the engens and launched to space. We set a course for Freeport 9 just as four Nomad battleships came into view. The course was set and we hit stardrive and passed the Dyson Sphere. We made it to Toledo but all we saw were large asteroids where Toledo used to be. So we went on to Where Freeport 9 used to be. It was gone but not too far off was a strange looking station. It was made up of distroyed battleship hulls, we docked and found Casper Orillion on the landing deck. "Juni, Trent, your alive!" he said, but wheres king he asked? We told him what had happened with king and found out that the Nomads had uleashed a full invasion on Sirius. All of the border worlds, independant worlds, All of Britonia, and Kasuri were under their control. But California and half of Rienland were under Nomad control. The only reason Liberty wasnt under their control was because it had defence all around it. Then where was a loud creeking sound." What is it?" Orillion asked. the loud speeker boomed "Nomads sir." "ah, crap" I said. There was a loud explosion and we were throun about. The station was being distroyed. And this time it looked like we were going with it.......

No correction necessary. I love when a great game like this inspires someone's imagination, rather than quelling it as every non-gamer assumes it does. I had some Starlancer mini-novels myself.
Indeed, keep 'em coming!

AHA! And now the Nomads take King's body and turn him into a zombie! Cool.

Don't you think the Dom Kavash would look a little like the nomads?

Captured Pt. 5: New Discovery

There was a loud creeking sound and then an explosion. And we were tossed around like rag dolls, when we got up and looked out the window we could see at least 20 Nomad Battlesips! They fired another wave of torpedieos and half of the station was blown up and floated off and burned up in the atmosphere on Vespus.
"Get to your ships, now!" Orillion yelled to us. We reminded him that we didnt have any ships left. So we all ran to the docking bay and were givin a new Order VHF, the Ravenclaw 6300. It could mount any weps exept Nomad Battleship turrets and up to four torpedieo launchers. We all launched and engadged the Nomads, Orillion radioed us and told us to land on Vespus, there was a cloaked docking ring on the other side. We all used the docking ring after it uncloaked and landed. We flew for nearly five minutes as not to alert the Nomads. The base wasnt like anything I had expected, all i could see was a command deck and three huge doors on the ground. As I went to land the doors opend and then closed right on top of me. Doors under me opened into a landing deck. We landed and Orillion explained that this was nessessary because Vespus had no atmosphere. As it turned out this was an Order retreat that no one knew about except for the Order. BOOM!! There was another loud explosion and we knew the Nomads had found us. We were about to launch when Orillion told us there was a "back way out". A jumphole to New York in a big cave not far from here. A jumphole on a planet! We all took it just as we saw a blue plasma blast and a large shockwave where the base was, it was gone. We jumped back to liberty space and landed on Manhattan. It was chaos, buildings blown in half, fires, crashed ships, bodies laying every where. We went to the bar and found the bartender i knew from my last incedent. He said the Sleeper ships all exept the Hispania were still hiddin and functional on Maine. The Sirius military Forces were planing to relaunch them and send them to the Sentari cluster not very far from here. He says the El Signia the mexican ship crashed there and might have survived. We set course for Maine but just as we were about there an entire Nomad force of about 15 fleets uncloaked. It didnt look like we were going to make it this time, they were clearly still after the Dom Kavish artifact, and they would kill anyone who got in their way. Anyone, especially us, we were not going to make it out of this one alive.........

About sound not traveling in space ... true, but explosions and debris can still cause concussive or impacting effects which will translate into sound that could be heard because you are on a ship or planet that has air.

For instance, if you're in a ship, and a ship next to you explodes, you won't hear the explosion itself really, but you WILL hear the effects of that explosion acting on your ship. So in a way, you will still hear it.

I was more bothered by basic words such as "episode" and "coming" being spelled wrong. There are ways to check those things.

Hey, this is great stuff. I guess the Nomads have been building up quite a few forces since the last time, huh?
