Absolutely!
The demo is keeping me busy at the moment but it's still a bloody long time until April 11th.
FL is really cool as it stands but if DA were to release a patch or expansion to add/correct some of the things people have been griping about, that would be better still. Just as long as it doesn't take them another four years ...

I preordered the game after playing the demo. Therefore, that means I liked it.
I'll probably get blacklisted and/or get this thread locked for saying this but I am still a little disappointed that 1st person isn't fully supported, and the demo at least had some odd voice cut-offs while trying to talk to people in bars etc.
The voice acting was a little goofy too, "so, you're new here"....."uhhhhhh huhhhhhh" but hey it's just a game not real life.
The space combat, ambience, and performance on my system was quite nice (even though my video card is well over 2 months old so it's not anywhere near new).
Game on........
Bargib comments here: You need to do a lot worse to get this thread locked I find some conversations a tad goofy too, so I've been using my <ESC> key a lot on those to speed it up... To speed the game a bit further up, select "Skip Transistions". Though you still have to press <ESC> for those rumours/info/missions... But hey - that button isn't to hard to hit

after my first disappointment vansish, now I have a nice game for death match with abit flying skill, and a great living and breathing universe in eve

and I mean both of them
still I think the game could have been alot better, for the stuff that is in the game (and no I do not speak of any secrets, I speak of the plain funktions the game offers you direkt) 4 years is just to much dev time, heck even blizzard works faster

Well I downloaded the Demo... played it... hated it... uninstalled it....
Microsoft.... WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING.... If I could swear in public forums without being censored I would!!!!
The graphics are obliterated by Earth & Beyond. You physically can run around the space
This is an insult to the Space Combat Genre....
I was sceptical of the "Mouse only" setup but was willing to wait and see for myself... Suffice to say people I was not impressed at what seems to be a joke (god I hope this demo was a joke). Because I'm not laughing...
I for one will not be buying this game, and I wonder if anyone else feels like they've been kicked in the guts after being avid fans of the original Starlancer and waiting so patiently for years...
