Will YOU BUY Freelancer?

Don’t think so. I like cosmosims, but Freelancer is not cosmosim. When i played in it, i had feeling that i play in some kind of arcade game, like Galaxians.

Definetly not.
Caught an article in the latest PC Gamer, and the game just didn't seem like what I was expecting. I'm sure it'll be great for the fans, but I was just disappointed. 5 years is alot of time, for what looks to me like a barebones spaceventure game. 20 hours of main storyline is way low, and theres no poit in doing the other repeated--err--random missions if the games already over.

Multiplayer will be pointless.

I'll be buying it with hope in my heart that it's a darn site better than that demo they released. The demo made it look like an arcade game!

I bought FL few days ago at immense cost (us import, 80us$) and I already regret it. Fl seems to me unfinished. I miss a TON of stuff that were great about Privateer and The Darkening, im missing the equipment possibilietes, the different missions and I hat it that at higher levels you only cross around Rheinland since Liberty and Bretonia have nothing to offer to actualy get nough cash to get hands for the next über ship. *sigh*

I looked forward for FL but it is just disappointing me, it promised too much and we got actualy nothing but a "low budget space sim".

SOmeone said its the best space sim around. Well, if you are looking for space combat, get Wing COmmander or StarLancer, thay are way better balanced out and if you are looking for a "privateer" like game, get the original, elite or X-beyond the frontier. I feel they are all getter then FL.

Sorry to say that, I feel like there should be someone who say FL is not that great like everyone here tninks.

ps: waiting for the sequel to X and hope for a great game *hum*

Nope, won't buy it and I'm getting others not to buy it as well. Since the developers won't listen to us about support on a certain particular issue (which won't be mentioned to avoid being locked down

), I've been telling everyone I can not to buy it and to send feedback to MS as to why they won't. Maybe they will get the hint then.

If they patch it properly, then I will buy it however.
